Hotel FABRIC Paris is located on rue de la Folie-Méricourt, between Place de la Republique and Place de la Bastille, in the 11th district of Paris. It draws decorative and ornamental inspiration from the industrial past of the Oberkampf district. The brick-built walls, plentiful space, unconcealed supporting structures and the immense windows admitting plenty of natural light effectively illustrate this approach.

Occupying 4 floors, the FABRIC hotel boasts 33 ultra-comfortable renovated rooms in a resolutely contemporary setting.

Enjoy the steam room, fitness center, buffet breakfast, room service and honesty bar during your Stay!

Hotel Fabric is in the GreenKey applying process for 2025.

Hotel Fabric is a lovely boutique hotel in Oberkampf. It is on a fairly quiet street, within walking distance of a couple of metro stations, a number of good restaurants and cafes, the Picasso Museum and l’Atelier de Lumiere. The decor of the hotel references it’s origins with sewing-related displays and interesting fabrics in the bedrooms and public areas.

My room was a good size and felt larger due to the high ceilings and large windows. The bed was comfortable although a bit harder than I’d probably choose. The bathroom had both a rainforest and a “normal” shower and there was a generous supply of toiletries. The room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet.

The buffet breakfast had a good range of pastries, organic bread, cheese, ham, etc, plus several hot dishes. They supplied soya and cow’s milk. The only negative was the coffee, from a machine and pretty awful.

The staff were friendly and helpful, very patient with my bad French and spoke excellent English.

Dear Guests, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the Hotel Fabric with other travellers! We are delighted you appreciated our neighbourhood which is, indeed, close to several metro stations, to Le Marais, Atelier des Lumières, République, Bastille. The decor of the hotel and also high ceilings in the rooms, as you mentioned, remind its industrial past as a sewing factory. Regarding the breakfast buffet, we choose the freshest products of the season and we try to make it various and tasty, therefore we are very glad to have your feedback! We would be very pleased to welcome you back on your next trip to Paris, and hopefully you can practice your French with us again! Warm regards, Anastasia

This is the second time we've stayed at Hôtel Fabric, and our stay was as spectacular as the first. The hotel is very clean and stylish, with every room having it's own unique design. The beds and linens are very comfortable, and although the rooms are not particularly big, the beautiful bathrooms are more spacious than most hotels costing much, much more. I strongly recommend including their breakfast with your reservation. They serve a wonderful breakfast buffet, with fresh breads (and croissants, of course), cold cuts and cheeses, fresh juices and excellent coffee, and absolutely magnificent fresh scrambled eggs. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and speak several languages.
The hotel is also located in a prime location for walking to many of the historic sites in Paris, and there are many excellent restaurants within walking distance.

Dear Mr. Parrish, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with other travelers. It was such a pleasure to welcome you again at Hotel Fabric, thank you for trusting us for another wonderful stay. We are deeply touched by your kind words about the staff as well as the cleaness of our hotel, housekeeping is such a big asset for the team, and we truly thank you for recognizing their efforts. As you well mentioned, the unique industrial style of our property is inspired by the textile factory this building used to be. It is with great pleasure that we read your compliment about our buffet breakfast, we put special attention to serve fresh and local products, we are glad that you appreciated it. Thank you for highlighting our location, near from Le Marais, Canal Saint Martin et République, our guests feel in total immersion with the Parisians. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon whenever your travels bring you back to Paris Best regards, Monica Front Desk manager

We are delighted to add our review for this delightful, quirky and comfortable hotel. From our delightful experience on check in with the friendliness, professionalism and happy disposition shown by the lady who checked us in, to all the staff who were so helpful with all our questions and requests. The room was spacious, comfortable and homely, the buffet breakfast had a great choice of hot and cold food and free coffee and cake was available in the lounge at any time you felt like lt. The hotel is located quite centrally so there is a good choice of restaurants, shops etc nearby. We were unfortunate to encounter a major transport strike, but normally buses and the underground trains are only a short walk away. This is a wonderful hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff and we recommend this accommodation wanting a convenient place to stay in Paris.

From start to finish I loved everything about my stay at Hotel Fabric. The interior design, the staff, the comfort of the beds and cleanliness of the rooms and the overall location. As a reference - I stayed at 3 different hotels during my 1.5 week stay in Paris and Hotel Fabric exceeded them all, even the higher rated/more expensive hotel in Les Marais. US residents complain of noise and room size at Parisian hotels and Hotel Fabric was the least noisy and had the biggest room size compared to the other two rooms of the other hotels. The staff was eager to help and incredibly accommodating and fun - my mom and I loved chatting with Allikhan after we’d return each evening. The location was perfect in terms of quickly getting to the metro and ease of getting to the larger tourist attractions. What makes this hotel special is that it’s not a larger hotel in the middle of the all the noise, it’s a truer representation of Paris and you’re amongst a more neighborhood feel. The actual street itself is less charming than some of the other hotels but you are such a quick walk to anything you need/want to be. We walked and took the metro during our entire stay, and felt incredibly safe and welcomed by the neighboring businesses. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, I was incredibly pleased and will certainly be telling friends and family who plan to visit Paris.

We're thrilled that you enjoyed our property and that you found our hotel as the best of all the others hotels you visited while you stayed in the city, we are very honoured! Stayed twice in 2019 and will return again. Stylish, affordable boutique hotel in 11th. Easy walking into Marais or to attractions around the Seine. Short walk to two different Metro lines. Clean, well appointed rooms and public spaces. The private use hamam is a great, unique feature. However what sets this hotel apart is the incredible friendly service from everyone on the Fabric team. Very accommodating to room requests in advance of arrival as well as making restaurant recommendations and reservations. Helpful in storing bags on early arrivals or for late departures. All interactions are with well trained employees with great attitudes

We just finished a wonderful 4-night stay at Hotel Fabric last week. From the check-in experience to the room finishing, I cannot recommend this little gem enough. Firstly, it's location is wonderful if you're looking to explore a (slightly) quieter side of Paris. Oberkampf is an up and coming neighborhood full of awesome restaurants and shops and easily connects to Marais for nightlife, bars, etc. The hotel itself is situated on a side street away from the main boulevard so road noise is not as big of an issue.

The hotel rooms are small but wonderfully appointed. The desk area provides plenty of room for laying out belongs or getting some emails done. My only small gripe with the design of the rooms is that there is not very much counter space in the bathroom - so finding a place for Toiletries for more than two persons can be tight. I also really appreciated the complimentary sparkling and still bottles of water nightly in the room.

What makes Hotel Fabric really shine is the staff. Everyone was so pleasant and accommodating. The desk staff was very helpful in planning out dinner reservations for us. All in all, a wonderful stay at Hotel Fabric.

Dear Mr., Words are missing to thank you enough for your comment. It seems you enjoyed your stay as much as we enjoyed welcoming you at the Hotel Fabric. The location is perfect to discover a non touristy part of Paris, plenty of good addresses for the restaurants, bars... The Marais is located 15 minutes walk from the hotel, perfect to shop in the lovely Parisian shops. We are located in a small and quiet street, highly appreciated. The lobby is the perfect to relax, to work or to have a hot drink after a long day. We have well noted your comment on the bathroom. and thank you for your feedback. We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back very soon. Kind Regards, Claire F. - Manager

Really cool place! The hotel is decorated in a loft style, creating a special youthful and creative atmosphere.

A very comfortable common area to work or just relax. The room is clean, it's nice to be there, the room has a bathtub, which made me very happy, it's so nice to spend time in the bathroom after a long walk or in the morning. The hotel has very fast internet, which will be useful for people with remote work.

I also want to note that there are very tasty breakfasts! Friendly staff and excellent service for the entire chain of these hotels.

It should be noted the very convenient location, there are many stylish cafes around, where you can always have lunch or dinner. I would like not to return to these networks. Thank you hotel Fabric for a great experience!

We had the privilege of staying at the Hotel Fabric for six nights in early April, 2022. Before we ever checked in the hotel staff graciously answered questions about the neighborhood, set up dinner reservations and handled our ground transportation. They could not have been more helpful or supportive of our plans. Once we arrived, they welcomed us with a speedy check-in and the keys to a beautifully appointed room overlooking the street below through 11 ft. windows. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom featured a strong rainshower in a tiled walk-in enclosure. There was nothing lacking in our room and it was a perfect retreat once we walked hours across our beloved Paris. The lobby/great room/community table was high energy and stylishly decorated. Complimentary tea and coffee was available throughout the afternoon and evening with Madaleines to accompany the drinks... again a nice treat to return to after a day of sight-seeing. Some travelers to Paris may question staying in a neighborhood away from the typical Paris attractions. For us, it was a privilege to get to know this new part of Paris, and the hotel's location was well situated to three different Metro stops within short walking distance. That having been said, there are so many choices for cafes and restaurants in the area you may never need to travel to the Left Bank or Marais for entertainment at night. Hotel Fabric was the jewel in the crown our April in Paris visit.

Hotel Fabric is a charming boutique hotel in a great location just outside of Le Merais. The staff was very friendly. My only complaint was that we had no hot water for our entire four night stay and I was not impressed with how the staff handled the situation. The initial response was to tell us it was just isolated to our room and they would look into it. It was still not resolved after a day and then they offered to switch us to a different room ensuring us that they tested the water in the other room and it was working. Unfortunately, the water was only luke warm in the new room. When we checked out, they then admitted that it was a problem throughout the hotel and a repair person was coming by that day to address it. They offered us no compensation for four mornings of luke warm showers. I don't really care about the money, but I do think something should be offered as an apology for a substandard experience.

We have never done the bus, too touristy. You don't want to call any more attention to yourself than you need. We have been my metro and I think it was less than 25 minutes. Uber is a good way to go and see the sights along the way. No stairs that way!

There is a list of the prices and you have to fill in how much you drank and your room number. The hotel trusts you with this and makes it possible. There are also free chips when you use the bar for a late night drink. Tea/ coffee/ water/ cappuccino/ espresso / hot chocolate are free. Only booze costs money.
