This Pension deserves a positive review. The welcoming, very pleasant staff listens to the customer.
The quality of the bedding is top. Very clean room is top. The window can open which is good because you can ventilate the room. Soundproofing is good.
I would definitely recommend this address.

Looking for a less expensive hotel in Paris, we decided on the Hotel Nadaud, in the 20th arrondissement and very close to Père Lachaise cemetery. We're glad we did. It's a budget hotel with a very friendly staff and a lift (we stayed on the fifth floor.) The room was small, but adequate. The bathroom was modern and thoughtfully designed and equipped. The hotel offers in-room breakfast if desired, but so many nearby cafés offer the same for lower price, we used it only once. I knew little about the neighborhood, Ménilmontant, which we found lively and attractive; full of shops, cafés, and restaurants. The Nadaud is two minutes from Gambetta Metro stop, which, of course, connects you to all of Paris. The 61 and 69 busses are also right there, that connect to the Gares de Lyon and Place de la République. I recommend the Hotel Nadaud for its location, price, and friendliness.

One of the best hotels we have stayed on. We have paid a lot more before and stayed in 4 star hotels that weren’t as good. This was excellent value for money. The room was very clean. Although no tea making facilities you can ask for a kettle. Also an iron and ironing board are available on request. The staff were brilliant. Very professional and friendly. We had a lovely room with a view of the Eiffel Tower.(it is in the distance but still very visible especially when it sparkles at night). Metro line 3 is right outside hotel. So even though you are not in the centre of Paris you are only a 15 min metro ride away. They are some very nice restaurants and bars in the area plus plenty of good local shops. Very safe and convenient area. Right next to Pere Lachaise. Which is well worth a visit. We will definitely use Hotel Nadaud again and recommend to our friends.

Owners not human at all. Following a death in our family we asked to postpone our booking so as not to lose the 400€ booking. But this was refused because it was a booking booking. The total lack of understanding clearly shows the mentality of the owners. Hotel to avoid absolutely!

This hotel deserves its good rating, despite reviews being relatively few and far between recently. The staff are friendly and despite claiming the contrary when they phoned to double check my arrival time, speak excellent English. The room was simply furnished but, together with the bathroom, spotlessly clean. The hotel is located less than a minute from the Metro in a quiet street, but just around the corner from some pleasant bars, cafés, and restaurants. The Metro makes access to the city centre very quick and easy while the famous Cimetière du Père Lachaise is on your doorstep. Front door locked at night but you are provided with door access code which works fine. I normally stay in other parts of the city but liked the hotel and area and I would definitely return. Excellent value for money.

This 2-star hotel judging by the room that was allocated to me on the 6th floor is correct. Small room, no charm but sober and clean, satisfactory bedding, no noise.
To note separate toilet and bathroom all totally earthenware, an impeccable shower cabin. Good surprise there is also a magnifying mirror and a box of fine paper.
You can put down a computer, table and chair are in place. A useful equipment for breakfast because only possibility there is no room for this purpose.
Not being a follower of this concept I did not try breakfast.

Lots of positive points: the windows open, the staff is very friendly, the coffee is good, the croissants are buttery, everything is clean, cleaning is done every day, the neighborhood is pleasant and the price remains affordable.
Who says better - especially in Paris?
Additionally, the bedding in our room appeared to be new.
Finally, you can request a room with a view and have a panoramic view of the Montparnasse Tower, the Eiffel Tower, La Défense and the Sacré Coeur. At sunset it is simply magnificent.

Worth staying in this hotel! Cute and petit, with clean rooms, breakfast served at room every morning! The gentleman at the reception was really helpful. Kind personnel. Our room was almost at the corner and every night we could stare at the Eiffel Tower!
The most important thing is that the neighborhood was super safe with lots of shops and stores you would need, and the metro station literally IN THE CORNER of the hotel door.
Higly recommended. If we visit Paris again, we will book again Nadaud!
Thank you!

This was my 2nd stay in Nadaud. (5 days) I chose this hotel because of the location the first time.. I discovered the area and liked it more and more... The nice restaurants, the calm neighbourhood, the poetic and calming cemetary 'Père-Lachaise' next door, that I always wanted to visit when being in Paris but never did. Being that close now I could visit every day! (I DID) My first stay was good. Reason enough to book for a second time. This second stay was fantastic! When I am traveling alone, I am much more sensitive about the place where I stay. It needs to be a "feelgood" place. Nadaud definitely is... Now even more than before! It has been renovated for the better. Rooms, staircase, bathrooms etc. Quite a surprise, because I didn't expect this at all. It kept its intimacy BUT completely rejuvenated:
A perfectly successful facelift! The decent use of a new color palette brings in much more joy to your stay. It also has given the staff a boost! They were so friendly and very helpfull. Patiently advising me on whatever question I had. Like; transport, resto's, exhibitions, cinema's etc etc. (also in English, because speaking the French language is sooooo difficult for me) The bed was comfortable; I slept very well after strolling on the long Paris boulevards...
AND for me; the Breakfast-in-Bed... is the ultimate treat!!!
A friend had mentioned this place years ago. (Thnx Eric!)
I have been running a 5 room B&B myself for 10 years and escaping from work was a must every now and than. Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, London and Paris are my favourite cities. If you travel a lot, and have some experience in THE field, you don't accept bad places anymore.....I've seen soooo many...
Next time Paris? Next stay NADAUD!
