A great location in Montmatre, two minutes walk from the magnificent Sacre Coeur. Nice spotless rooms and a manager and staff that couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I'd recommend the Bellevue Hotel to anyone.

We stayed at the Bellevue Hotel for 6 nights, using it as a base to explore Paris. We could not have made a better choice! It's location is ideal - a 2-3 minute easy walk from Anvers Metro Station, and about 50-100m from the Sacre Coeur and the delights of the Place de Tertre (Artist's Square) and Montmartre itself. The...

Absolutely brilliant. It is in a great location , in a touristic area. 30 seconds walk from the nearest metro station. There are lots of shops and restaurants near the hotel. Restaurants of different cusines. The staff are very very friendly. Whenever we need help to find our way or needed directions; they were very helpful. They only got stressed...

Enjoyed the friendly & helpful staff during our stay. Our room was bright, clean & tidy, compact but sufficient for our requirements. The continental breakfast was perfect to start us off each day on our exploration of what Paris has to offer. A short stroll to/from Gare du Nord station was ideal for arrival & departure by Eurostar rail transport,...

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was small and basic, but clean. The breakfast was good. Location is also very good, short distance to both Sacré-Coeur and metro. Staff was friendly, helpful and spoke great english.

Staff were very helpful letting us leave luggage before check in and after checkout. Breakfast was delicious a good set up for the day. Room was fine apart from booking a twin and being given a double, My only problem was during my stay the weather was extremly hot and it would have been lovely to be able to go...

Well-appointed hotel, short walk from the Sacre Coeur with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Staff were very kind and attentive, and spoke perfect English. We stayed in a triple room which was quite spacious, modest but had everything we needed, including hairdryer, and toiletries. Room was clean and tidy. The continental breakfast was very generous. The hotel is close...

Good value, clean and very close to Sacre Couer. Area is very busy with dozens of fabric shops and many toursits but felt safe. Compact room but clean and comfortable with decent bedding and clean linen. Neutral decor. Very helpful reception staff . Excellent continental breakfast [plenty of fruit, juice, coffee, yoghurt and pastries] No English language TV channel. Close...

Stayed here as a birthday present in March 2007 for a short break with my boyfriend. Hotel is in a lovely little cobbly quiet back street. No problems with the hotel, all nice and clean and staff were very welcoming. Do not recommend this area however... quite a scary evening environment, be careful not to carry too much money as...

Stayed for a weekend in Paris with the other half and this is one of the worst places I have ever had the displeasure of staying in. The room smelt of damp, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, there were holes in the bedspread which looked filthy. The bathroom paint was flaking off the walls and the inside of...

Here is the Management’s answer: 1)“The room smelt ……..black.” Not true. We checked with the cleaning lady, and she confirmed that she performed her tasks as well as usual. In terms of service, we are using a cleaning company, which is also used by the Accor hotel chain, the largest hotel chain in France and one of the largest in...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
