The hotel room was quite small but really clean and adequate for our two night stay in Montmartre. The location was great with bars and restaurants nearby and a short walk to the metro and to the Sacre Coeur. The staff were really friendly and helpful and were happy for us to leave our bags behind the counter for a...

This was our first time to Paris and I hadn't done much research on what suburb to stay. The Gard du Nord station was a short walk to our hotel which was handy and a 2 min walk to the basilica. If you head up to the basilica at anytime through your stay in Paris just be aware that there...

We stayed for 3 nights in July 2016, a short romantic break This is an excellent hotel that is conveniently situated 2 minutes walk from Anvers Metro Station. There is a supermarket 1 minutes walk away and a very friendly backpacker style bar (On The Road) nearby where you can get a decent pint of local lager for 3 Euros...

Great service, really calm and considerate. The stairs and halls can be a bit too dark and the lights take a while to turn on but apart from that there's not much to complain about. The concierge's are really relaxed and it's great that they're bilingual. The cleaners do a fantastic job and they're not thieves. The rooms are a...

The rooms are OK, for the price for one night 96.75euro for two person on the montmatre zone, I think is OK, clean. and the receptionist (the morning one) is ok. Our bad experince was when we couldnt check in early due to the time we arrived, so we were offered to leave luggage there in the hotel, this is...

1/ We thank the client for the compliment on the adequacy of the room price, cleanliness and the morning receptionist. 2/ The receptionist indicated clearly to the client that the hotel does not have enclosed facilities and therefore we do not offer storage. However, to be agreeable to the client, the receptionist agreed exceptionally to let the client to leave...

~ So some frank honesty: Room was basic, and view wasn't great, the hotel rooms are in need of a serious paint job, that aside... I wasn't there to sit in my room staring out the window ha. Clean bedding, towels, soap, and shampoo supplied everyday. The staff where amazing - friendly and helpful - spoke multiple languages. - barely...

Travelling on a budget with a group of Scouts, we were pointed to these accomodations by our local AAA branch. The staff was incredibly pleasant. None of our group spoke French, which was a concern for us, but the staff was very understanding and worked with us to get us checked in, find attractions and metro stops, and restaurants. The...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
