Just returned , having spent 3 days in Paris. We stayed in Hotel Bellevue. and we were very happy with our choice. The hotel is easy to find, being very close to Anvers Metro. It's a slightly longer walk to Barbes -Rochechouart station, which we mainly used as Ligne 4 goes to a lot of the main areas of interest,...

The room was modern, clean and served the purpose of having a place to sleep, shower and change. Staff was helpful and spoke very good English. Caught the bus right in front of the door that took us to the Eiffel Tower. Was wonderful to come back that way at the end of the day. Metro entrance is down the...

Great location. 2 minutes away from the metro. Easy access to Disneyland and airport CDG. Used as a base to sleep only, lots of cafes, bars and shops within the area. Perfect hotel to use when exploring Paris.

Initially, this end of the rue d'Orsel does not appear to be the most salubrious, especially arriving, as we did, in the dark! Don't be put off. This hotel is literally minutes away from the heart of vibrant Montmartre and only two street turns from the Sacre Coeur. 24 four hour reception facilities, with really helpful, multi lingual (English, Italian,...

The hotel itself was nice. Breakfast was lovely as was the outside sitting area But we (2 woman) felt very unsafe walking around the streets. Quite obvious that the area is struggling. The staff member on the day we arrived was quite unhelpful, but the night girl was lovely

Cheaper if you consider the average price in paris. It's located very well close to Montmartre Staff is nice, and room are clean. In my opinion, the only deficiency is that room and above all bathroom are dated. But it's a good solution

The hotel is situated in a not very nice neighbourhood. The lobby was so insignificant that we passed by without noticing the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, but there were some issues that were not very pleasant. The bathroom was a bit depressing, the light only went on after a minute. On the second day, when we arrived...

Here is the management response 1) Neighborhood: The hotel has an excellent location, only a few steps from the Sacre Coeur Church in the heart of Montmartre. We are located only 10 minutes from the famous Place du Tertre with its artists and painters in the street drawing your pictures at will, 15 minutes from the Rue des Abbesses with...

The official description states this hotel is luxurious and economical. It is far from luxury but that is why it is cheap affordable accommodation in the Montmartre area. Stayed here a number of times for a two night stay over the years but seriously it is now time to spend some money on new softer beds and updating your bathrooms....

Decent enough hotel with very polite and helpful staff. We just wanted to use the hotel as a base so it did the job fine, the room was a bit small and pokey and there was not much room for storage or suitcases. It was a little loud as next to the road but we were up earlier so not...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
