I must have spent two full days collectively researching this hotel for our recent stay. I was so intrigued and a bit confused by what looked to be a three-star hotel offering a four or perhaps even five-star level experience. I admittedly got swept up by the Instagram pics and may have set my expectations too high. We ended up...

Loved this hotel. The decor was amazing. Very Art Deco. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Our room (605) was quirky and very big. It had two single beds pushed together rather than a double. But that's the continent! The bathroom was beautiful. But, what stopped this getting a 5 was the bath/shower. It was a half size bath...

We had a last minute booking, so price was only 135 euro for a standard room, without breakfast. The rooms and the lobby are nicely decorated. Expect no grand-luxury, but good value for your money. There are some noises (airco? watersystem?) coming from the bathroom, but you cannot have it all in Paris, or you have to pay a much...

We absolutely loved Hotel Panache. The room was typically small for Paris but beautifully designed and the bar and restaurant are excellent. Try the honey cocktail! The price for the room was also excellent for Paris. See you again soon!

The hotel is typical Parisian in that it is tiny. The elevator barely fits two persons with two normal suitcases. the staircase is winding and small. If you are a person with a bigger girth, then it will be difficult to maneuver in the small shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was sufficient to really just come in...

I stay in Paris reasonably often on business; this was the first time at Hotel Panache. The bedroom was a very good size and the bed was super comfortable. A tasty breakfast buffet was enjoyed as well. Will definitely be heading back to this hotel when in Paris for work

Our travel agency didn't confirm our stay at the Hotel Panache, so when we arrived the Hotel didn't have us in their bookings. The Hotel was fully booked and no way to accommodate us. So the staff at the lobby connected us with the agency to help get us in another hotel and offered refreshments. We will stay at this...

Situated close to Gare du Nord and near multiple metro stations, this is a perfect location if you want to walk around the city as we did. If you don't there are also lots of places to go for food and drink as the place is buzzing around the clock, without being too busy or noisy. The hotel itself is...

In my opinion you pay way to much for the rooms. They're super small and not worth the price. The staff was really rude to us when we asked them about parking options. I even talked to him in French, but the guy was so unfriendly.. Also after the first day we had some inconvenients in our room and the...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
