Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

Stayed one night in the Hotel Crimee. It's a no frills hotel but great value for Paris. The concierge was awesome - he couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast was great value for 6€. The room was fairly small and the bathroom tiny but that's to be expected in Paris. The metro (Crimee station) is about 30 metres away so it's really convenient. Would recommend this hotel but only for a short stay as the rooms are pretty tiny.

We had pre-booked this hotel before leaving Australia. We arrived reasonably late at this hotel due to the time our flight landed at Orly Airport. The person on the front desk was welcoming and friendly. We checked in without having to sign anything and given our key to the room. The lift was small, old and shaky but did the job. Our room was quite small and was difficult to move around in it. The room faced the road so there was a lot of road noise to contend with. In the morning we showered in what I would call a mini shower cubicle as both of us just fitted when showering. Having said this the room and hotel were clean and the breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel for a one night stay only.

We stayed here in July and it was very pleasant. its a quaint hotel with friendly staff. The room set up was a bit different. At first i thought we had no toilet and only a shower and sink. rest assured there was a toilet, in the corner behind the front door, lol. I would stay again. The lift however is quite old and i got stuck in it one night for a while, and with the language barrier, i wasn't very reassured help was coming (I pressed the call button but nobody came, after around 10 minutes i resorted to banging on the door haha). However, the staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and i would definitely stay again. It is also just around the corner from Crimee metro station, which is handy for getting to anywhere you want to go in Paris. Great value for money :)

Stayed: July 29th - Aug.2nd. 2014 This is a small hotel but very quaint. Rooms were nice with AC and phone. The staff was very friendly and very helpful for whatever you needed. No safe in rooms but if you need to use one they have one at the front desk which we used. Very close to the subway, just around the corner. They do have a few small restaurants on the block and more on the main street a half block away. Didn't eat breakfast there. I thought the price was a bit high. All in all this is a nice place. It is located in the N.E. of the city. I didn't like the fact that it only has 1 very narrow open staircase leading to all the rooms upstairs. But I believe that most hotels like this one are the same. I'm into safety. If this is not a concern, then this is a good place to

The hotel is very close to the Metro making commuting extremely easy. I had read in the reviews that the neighbourhood is a little mixed but found it to be quite safe. The room was clean and comfortable and perfect for 2 people. The people at the reception were very nice and helpful. We had the paid breakfast one day and it was quite a decent spread. Overall the hotel is great value for money.

Hotel Crimee is a great value hotel close to the city center. (I arrived at Orly airport and took a B - blue Line train from Antony and changed trains at Chatelet - Les Halles {Currently, there is construction in that station for the 7 trains so I got off the previous stop and walked to the next stop) The hotel rates are great and its a 5 min walk to the Metro line 7 (Pink Line). The hotel is clean and there is air condition as well. The breakfast is not included with the room unless you pay for it. (Its a Buffet breakfast at 8.50 euro). There are also bakeries across the street and around the corner. The hotel provides Free WIFI and it works good. The staff is helpful and speaks English well. The train ride to Notre Dame is about 30 min. For the price and the close

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and decided to add an extra night since the location was great. The staff was very friendly and no stress. Children friendly, but no breakfast included, not a problem. Parking was down the block for 15 Euros a night, but no problem since it was very close to the metro and only 20 minutes to the center of attraction. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris for a few days.

Cute little cozy hotel, right on the subway line. Nice quiet rooms with blooming flowers in the windows from early April to October. Loved staying here with my son, as we wanted to travel and see the most popular attractions in Paris. Got here by train from the airport, just had to change the lines. Don't expect luxury at this price, rooms are small and the bathroom as well. The breakfast is great, just what you need to start your day. If not pleased, there are many restaurants around and a mouth-watering bakery just around the corner, at the subway entrance. About 20 min by subway to Opera, 30 min to Louvre, 20 min to Moulin Rouge. Also went to Versailles by train. For sure I'll go again, it was a pleasant experience.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Crimee with our children ages 10 & 12. Nice room with two doubles, reasonable price, quiet and clean and right around the corner from the metro. We chose to have breakfast at the hotel, which was a good continental. Would stay here again.

We stayed for a 2 nights in June for €130 per night that did not include breakfast. Our hosts were the owners, an older couple who were very friendly. We booked a family room with two queen size beds. The room was quite small, and the bathroom was exceptionally small. The location is fairly close to most attractions in Paris, around a 15 minute ride. From the underground Metro it's a 5 minute walk. There are a number of inexpensive restaurants next to the hotel, plus other convenience stores, such as cell phone, laundry, etc. The owners were very helpful. Breakfast can be purchased for an additional price, and was also very good, although it did not include any waffles, pancakes or omelets. We would definitely stay here again.
