Goods: - Close to the Metro Station (Barbès - Rochechouart) which has access to Metro 2 & Metro 4. - Bus station is also close. - One of the most popular tourist destination at Paris Sacré-Cœur Basilica is just one Metro station away from the Hotel and 15 mins walking distance. - One 24x7 Store is there just at the...

Location: there are two metros near by, as well as a bus stop. It takes around 8-12 minutes walking to get to them. There's a small 24 hr. store just next to the hotel with good prices on snacks, soft drinks and beer. There isn't much to do in that area though. Rooms: our room was on the 4th floor....

This hotel is disappointing, rough round the edges. Noisy with thin walls and doors, no tea and coffee making facilities, dirty towels and too few for one each in the room. One pillow per person, tiny tv on the top of a wardrobe. Shower variable in temperature. It's a shame, because the building is actually a historical, formerly grand building,...

Stayed there twice during on 6/12 & 11/12 in room 29. Lobby is small for us (30 friends). Reception is curt and disorganized. Lift is small ( 5 adults only with luggage). Breakfast is minimal and the same daily (bread, cereal, milk, croissants, rolls). Lights are motion activated (we were greeted with dark hallways upon exiting lift). Decor is dated...

The owners were very rude. They told me off for accidentally not switching my tv off! On our last morning, I woke up to drops of water on my face! The ceiling was leaking above me from someone's dirty shower water - eek!!

The location of property seems to be safe and is near to the garu de nord and garu de est train stations . There are lot of restaurants around...

We had a room on the fourth floor overlooking a the street perpendicular to Rue du Faubourg Poisonniere: Great view. The rooms was comfortable and clean. The beds were great to sleep in. The people running it were friendly (only some of them sometimes a bit chaotic. No problem though). A nice French breakfast: croissant, a baquette, the usual cereals...

The staff were friendly and helpful even though we can only speak English. The breakfast was more than expected, and the train station is nearby. The wifi is intermittent. Restaurants are nearby. It is an older budget hotel that is priced fairly.

We visited Hotel Altona while on family holiday and will regret it for a long time. The room we stayed in was dirty and infested with bed bugs. In the morning we woke up to discover the bugs crawling all over us the the kids. The bed sheets were all covered with blood and we realised that we were all...
