Stayed there for 3 nights with a friend. The Hotel is small, but the rooms are clean and very very nice, and the staff is diffidently there to help. Is located about 12 mins walk from the Eiffel Tower, 5 min from a metro, and in a very nice shopping and dinning area. You can find everything just around the...

Just got back from a wonderful stay at Hotel Nicolo, Paris. Very nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, and great breakfast. I recommend having it outside in the garden gazebo.

Very pleasant, unpretentious little hotel with friendly, helpful staff and a good location, all at a very reasonable rate.....there is nothing not to like about the Nicolo. The breakfast included in the rate was very good but don't leave it till the last half hour before they finish serving at 10.00am to go down as most other guests seem to,...

Easter weekend .. stayed in the Hotel Nicolo and it was just perfect. A 'jewel' of a hotel tucked away yet unbelievably central. The hotel is 'boutique', comfortable and tranquil. Great breakfast (fresh fruit, juice, croisants, breads, tea/coffee). Staff were very helpful and on-hand when we needed info about restaurants, taxis, church, etc. The hotel is approx. 10 mins walk...

I split my stay in Paris between a 5-star hotel and the Nicolo, and after coming from the 5-star, my immediate impression of the Nicolo was, "This is *only* a 2-star?!?" This is a hotel that goes out of its way to make guests feel comfortable. The rooms are nicely decorated and look out over a beautiful courtyard, the breakfasts...

This small Parisian hotel met my expectations more than I could imagine. I went there with my wife because of a conference in the nearby OECD headquarters. We both enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is well located at a quiet street with the same name, in walking distance to two Metro stations. It has obviously been recently renovated...

I have been staying at Nicolo regularly for over 5 years now, and I must say that we have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, always willing to help, the rooms are big (for Paris), the bathrooms too. The hotel is clean, decorated simplistically, but nicely... Breakfast is basic but good. Location is fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel... the...

I loved my long weekend stay at the Hotel Nicolo back in 2008, and I will be heading back there as it was so lovely and everything | was looking for. The staff could not do enough for us and were so accomodating, it made our stay so much more lovelier. The price is also great value for money, we...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
