Discreet and warm, Hotel Thérèse is just reborn. You are invited to rediscover the new hotel with its chic retro charm where comfort and wellbeing remain the key elements. Rich colors and fabrics deliberately faded or given a patina were chosen to combine a 20TH century vintage look with the neo industrial atmosphere of a loft Here you will discover a new Parisian elegance that mixes modernity and creativity, always taking its inspiration from the main decorative trends of the past decades.

A short walk from the Louvre, the Opera House, Eglise Saint Roch(Christmas Mass), Le Royal Opera restaurant and the Monoprix market. JanTchi, was just across the street(Michelin Star). Nearby shopping on Rue Saint-Honore(Channel, Dior, Hermes,...). We walked extensively at all hours of the day and night and always felt safe.

Greeted by Said, the concierge, who assisted in our check-in. Elevator took us to our 4th floor room. The room, “Tradition”, was cozy, comfortable, and spotless. The bed was just right, and the bath had plenty of hot water. The towels and linen were luxurious and plentiful. The room was soundproof as we heard no noises at night.

Their staff is fluent in English. The manager, Fanny, was extremely helpful and in making our reservations online from Tucson, AZ. The front desk personnel, especially Viviana, were helpful in guiding us to various sights and procuring discounted tickets to attractions. For parking use Parking Public le Louvre online.

The breakfast was scrumptious and plentiful. The scrambled eggs were special as were all the varieties of breads offered. We were late risers so we looked forward to a 9:30 am breakfast each morning. The other guests we met in the restaurant were from all over the world, most return customers.

The lobby is inviting with two sitting areas. Afternoon refreshments are served. A great place to watch the world go by and meet fellow travelers.

We highly recommend the hotel and when back in Paris we will stay there again.

Booked here after much research. Great location with good links to public transport and within walking distance of Louvre and other key landmarks. Neighbourhood is lively with everything you might need.
Staff are really really friendly and warm, always a smile when they see you.
Decor is classic, a bit Art Deco, not too feminine and not impersonal.
The building is old and stairs have some uneven steps adding to the charm.
Breakfast plentiful and good quality. Executive room was spacious, loved the dressing area. Very comfortable bed. As others have said, the room could accommodate another armchair and maybe a small table. Bathroom could be a tad better with a different showerhead and another couple of small adjustments.
For me this the true boutique hotel: not too many rooms, dedicated attentive service, loved having to hand the room key in when leaving, nicely old fashioned.
They were amazing in organising my husband birthday celebration and gave a gift too.
There are plenty of other similar hotels in the area, but I think this is where we will come back.
A true find.

We were looking for a nice hotel to use as our base for three nights in Paris and decided to treat ourselves to Hotel Therese on recommendation of a French friend from U.S. It was totally worth it. The beds were extremely comfortable. Would suggest booking directly with the hotel email as they are very responsive and can lay out the different sized rooms and beds that are available. The location made it easy for family members to come and go on own schedule as we walked everywhere and when my teens were ready to leave a museum I felt very comfortable just letting them meet us back at hotel given safe location.

We stayed here for six nights with our young adult children. The staff of this hotel cared for us like old, dear friends. Upon our arrival they were able to solve a problem that was beyond their control in a productive way that suited our needs well. The location is smack dab in the middle of the city, making easy access to metro line 1 and 7. The rooms are quiet, clean, and beautiful. Beds were beyond comfortable. We stayed in an executive suite and liked having the dressing room to hide the clutter of our luggage. The breakfast room and lobby are divine. There are many great restaurants nearby including Bistro Vivienne and lots of great local cafes around the Place de Marche St. Honore. If you are looking for Korean or Japanese food, this is your place. We all agreed that we would stay here again. We were sad to leave.

Loved this hotel - small but perfectly formed room, the bathroom was a miracle of space usage but had everything you could need. The location is perfect - near enough everything but the quietest place I've stayed in the city at night. The afternoon tea (complimentary) was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed two nights in this hotel while helping my daughter-in-law deal with a passport issue. It offers quite good value for Paris, and is in a good location, especially if you want to spend time at the Louvre. But if you have problems with stairs, this is not the place for you. While there is a small lift, each floor has a series of stairs to the rooms. I appreciated the limited menu room service the first night, as our train was quite late and the last thing I wanted to do was try and find a place open for dinner on a Sunday night. I also appreciated the nice bar area off of the lobby. I opted for a « Traditional « medium sized room. It was very clean and attractive, on the small size, but certainly adequate for one or two people, especially by Paris standards. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, and spoke some English. As I said, I believe it is good value for Paris.

The hotel has such a good central location but in a quiet area. The vibe is very charming and cozy. The staff were super accommodating and friendly, they were the highlight of our stay. Breakfast at 19 euros per person is a bit expensive for what they offer so might just go with room service next time.

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, Thank you very much for having shared your experience at Hotel Therese. We are pleased to hear that you have appreciated the cosy atmosphere of our boutique hotel. If you prefer to have a lighter breakfast in the future, we also propose an "express breakfast" which includes 1 hot beverage, 2 pastries (croissant or pain au chocolat) and 1 juice (freshly squeezed orange or grapefruit juice) at the rate of 10 euros per person. You will be able to enjoy it in the hotel lounge or in your room. On behalf of all of us at Hotel Therese, we look forward to welcoming you again soon! Kind regards, Fanny Shift Leader Hotel Therese

We stayed in Hotel Therese some 12 years ago and enjoyed our stay very much, deciding to return on a recent visits to Paris. The hotel has undergone many changes since then, all for the better. It is now very much a 'boutique' establishment, stylishly decorated and furnished, but retaining the charm that it had previously. The staff members were all very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast in the basement 'vaults' very good indeed.

Our room, which was one of the larger 'executive' types, was spacious and comfortable (it could have done with a second easy chair though so both of us could sit), with a great bathroom and very useful dressing room. Even thought it overlooked Rue Therese, it was remarkably quiet for such a central location. and, as others have noted, it really is central, being just five minutes from the Louvre. We visited during the transport strikes, so worth also noting that it is walkable from Gare Du Nord - maybe 35 minutes - no problem at all if you are travelling light.

I can't see us staying anywhere else when we come back to Paris.

We were so lucky to find this hotel last minute for our stay in Paris! It was in a perfect location, very central and we could walk to everything we wanted to see! It is an adorable hotel, with the nicest staff who were so accommodating, attentive and helpful. The reviews are right that the rooms are a little small, but that's how all the hotels in Paris are -- you won't find anything better anywhere else. The bathroom was nice as well and with the wardrobe and all of the shelves and storage areas, we were not cramped for space at all. Such a cute boutique hotel, I would recommend to anyone! It was perfect. We could not have asked for anything better. They also got our room ready so fast, like we were able to check in by 11 a.m. which makes a huge difference when traveling internationally.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris. Perfect location near many of the most famous sites - can easily walk anywhere you want to go. Also fantastic value, very few 4* hotels cost so little! (And they don't skimp on anything!) Very useful facilities including baggage room to use at start and end of stay, free coffee and cake in the afternoon, and a useful lift. Staff super kind and helpful, allowed us to practice our French but helped us out when we couldn't follow!
