This unassuming hotel has some stairs to climb and the rooms are small by American standards, but it's a cute hotel next to a tiny park and fairly centrally located. It's very near the Gare Montparnasse, and a pretty short ride or longish walk to the left bank and Seine. Fairly recently renovated, excellent croissants, or very nice cafés nearby....

We have stayed for a weekend vacation with my family in this small but really nice hotel. The staff was helpful and spoke english well. As we only needed a place to rest in the evening after the long days of sightseeing, the triple room was perfect for us, but it may be a bit small for a longer stay....

My partner booked this hotel as a surprise for my 21st, as neither of us had been to Paris before we needed somewhere to stay whilst touring the famous landmarks. This hotel met our expectations for just that. Quick check in, comfy rooms equipped with a bathroom, television and wardrobes. We unpacked our things and the only time we spent...

Great location right next to the metro, great rooms (my family had 2 to accommodate our large group), superb private bathrooms, optional add-on breakfast that offers everything you could ever want, and wonderful help at front desk. Needed a cab on last day to return to airport and the hotel arranged a very nice cab for us. The luggage hold...

Location of this hotel was good, you do need to take the metro to get to most of the main tourist attractions really, unless you're willing to walk 40mins or so each way. There were 3 of us staying in a triple room. To give you an idea of the size of everything, the lift only fitted 2 of us...

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for just 1 night but we're pleased with the location. Right near the metro and plenty of restaurants. Near the catacombs and Luxembourg gardens. The room is very small and simple, but good for the price. Would recommend.

We stayed here for one night before we caught our train the next morning to Poitiers. 2 min from the train station Montparnasse. Quite steep steps when you come in. Front Desk staff friendly. Room small but clean. Quite quiet. Did not have breakfast there but would next time as the place around the corner was a rip off 13...

Several visits demonstrate the consistency of service, cleanliness and helpfulness of staff. The hotel is located in a quiet location, just a few steps from a lively area, not very far from the Left Bank, with good Metro connections.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
