The man who seems to be in charge of breakfast is incredibly rude to the customers and the staff. He yelled at a girl who was very sweet and helpful to us for 5 minutes straight. Very uncomfortable. Other than that, great hotel.

Bonjour , I apologize for the minor incident at Breakfast. You do not know the whole context of the situation. I had a specific problem with teenagers who were very noisy ( and rude) and disturbed the organisation of breakfast. Again this was a very minor incident. I am glad anyhow that you seemed to have a good stay at...

A few years back I had the great fortune to stay at Hotel Marignan Champs Elysee on a trip back from the Champagne region. I was surprised to be upgraded to a charming room with French doors that led to a balcony which overlooked the building across the street and the Eiffel Tower. In the morning I had my coffee...

As usual my stay at Hotel Marignan was lovely. Roland and his staff, especially Brigitte are very kind and helpful. This time I was with a friend and we left for a few days to visit Prague. We were able to leave one of our suitcases at the hotel so we wouldn't have to check luggage that we didn't need....

The staff was very helpful and responsive. My daughter and I spent several night and then moved into a larger room when several friends joined us later. It was great having room large enough to accommodate five people. The rooms were neat and tidy, while the common areas could use some extra attention. Great place for groups at a reasonable...

and it just keeps getting better. We had an all too brief 4 night stay this time around and I only wish we could have stayed longer. The Marignan is quintessentially Parisian, located in a great spot and provides free breakfast and laundry that cost a fortune in similar hotels. The place is full of character and is located right...

This hotel is very suitable for a fast journey in Paris: rooms are comfortable and quite clean, with good bathrooms. Breakfast is a bit limited but nevertheless tasty. People working there are very kind and available for every need.

My third experience with Hotel Marignan, and they've always treated me well. It will be my go to place whenever I go to Paris. Close to metro and RER in Latin Quarter, it has a cross between a hotel feel and a hostel feel which I like. You can do your laundry (free including soap) use their kitchen, free wifi,...

Thank you for your comment. The character of our hotel is indeed special. Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
