On arrival to this hotel i was pleasantly surprised the reception and bar area is very trendy and in a good location, Our experience with the staff has been the main issue, I had in advance had money taken from my account for pre authorisation however upon arrival was told this would need to be done again which was very...

Dear Ashley P, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your experience at Hotel Andre Latin did not meet your expectations. It appears the various modifications (3) you requested on your reservation prior to your arrival made you benefit from a double superior room at a lower price (average 100€/night) compare to the Standard Twin Room you had...

We fly to Paris to know it, we selected this hotel because is in Paris center, near the Notredame Cathedral and was not expensive than hotels near eifel tower. The pictures in the web for the rooms were interesting. The reality of our assigned room (601) was totally diferent. Was a room with a wall at 50cm of the window,...

I STRONGLY recommend to stay away from this hotel for your wellbeing. There are bedbugs all over the room!!! During the first night of our visit, we could not make sense of the continuous itchy feeling on our skin and the blood stains on the bed. We asked the reception to give us a clean sheet and change it ourselves....

A good hotel for a short stay in Paris. The rooms are small and the noise can be a problem at night. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated a distance from the centre but walking distance to Notre Dam and the restaurant area.

We chose Hotel André Latin due to an affordable price. Hotel was under renovation when we stayed there four nights. There was nothing wrong with the hotel. The hotel is located just a ten minutes walk from the Seine river and Notre Dame. Pantheon and Jardin du Luxembourg are five minutes away. The staff was polite, breakfast was ok, the...

Hotel complete restructured on the front desk and adding a very nice bar with a nice and professional bar tender. Good to meet customers, friends and have some nice drinks or beer. Rooms always clean and ok looking, but really small. This is one of the negative things. Team friendly and always available for any request.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights beginning this month. The people at the desk were very friendly and helpful. The location is very central, easy to walk everywhere or take the metro. This has everything you need. The lobby area has just been re-done and is very nice. The breakfast is a little pricy comparatively speaking, but the coffee is quite good (but no coffee maker in the room). Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
