This hotel is a shame. The location is quite good, and that's the only good thing about it. The hotel is terribly dated, and in desperate need of renovation. The rooms are not clean at all, the sheets are dirty, the maids and reception staff are rude and breakfast is disgraceful. I paid 85 Euro per night, which is much...

I chose this hotel off the internet because of the amenities and location compared to price. We stayed there for a week during the end of September 2006. The ONLY good thing about this hotel is its location in the heart of Montparnasse area, but so are many others… When we arrived, we found out that the safe deposit box...

A nice small hotel, very convenient location, very close to two Metro stations, one of them a central one -Montparnasse-Bienvenue. The hotel is also close to the Tour Montparnasse. Lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms are small but very clean and include a bathroom and TV. There is an elevator. The staff was helpfull. We have found this hotel a...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
