Short weekend in Paris and looking for a reasonably priced but pleasant hotel near to some of the prime sightseeing locations. Also wanted to explore the Right Bank neighborhoods, and limit time on the metro. TripAdvisor reviews gave us some comfort on the choice, and the France D'Antin turned out to be as described, a nice place convenient for what...

My family and I have been coming to Paris twice or thrice a year since 2000 and each time we stay at France d'Antin. The staff is impeccable, very helpful and always smiling. Location is perfect, during summer you can open windows in the room and it will be quiet which is unusual for center of Paris. Rooms are not spacious but...

A 3-minute walk from the Opéra metro station, this cozy, family-run hotel is 6 minutes' walk from the opera at Palais Garnier and 12 minutes' walk from Musée du Louvre. The warm, polished rooms and suites feature flat-screen TVs and free WiFi. Some add balconies. Upgraded quarters offer sitting areas. Amenities include an intimate bar, a business center and continental...

Location of this hotel is excellent. Short walk from Roissy Bus Stop (aiurport bus). The rooms are quite small, just enough room to walk around the bed. The bathroom had no bench space and the toilet was so small the door opened back into the bedroom. The hotel room does have tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and a safe....

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during an August heatwave. I was travelling with my teenage daughter. We had a beautiful twin room on the top floor which had a lovely double balcony, which I really wasn't expecting. We had views over the neighbouring rooftops and garrets and it made us feel very Parisian. The aircon did struggle...

The location is great, very close to several metro stations, many bus stops (including the tourist hop-on, hop-off buses), shops and sites. The Louvre is a 10-minute walk away, and the Opera and the gorgeous Galeries Lafayettes are around the corner. Our room was charming, the bathroom was very nice, we were on the 5th floor and loved the view...

We stayed at this property for 3 days. The location is ideal for exploring the city. Although we experienced some issues with the wifi, we had similar experiences throughout Europe. If wifi is important, you may have to upgrade to a more costly hotel. It was nice to have a kettle and small refrigerator in the room. Also, the air...

We had a good deal for the hotel, and it was on par with our expecations. Great location, everything went as expected. On the negative side, the hotel WiFi was pretty bad and working on and off. Overall nothing too spectacular, but simply a good experience. And after all, in Paris you don't - or at least you shouldn't -...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

“We were in 302 which is a small twin room with the beds pushed together. The toilet was in the opposite corner of the room to the bathroom which was quirky and not a problem. There is a small lift to all floors which is fitted in the middle of a spiral staircase, very French.”
