Our stay at the Hôtel Madame Rêve more than exceeded our expectations. An unassuming entrance leads you into a hotel with beautiful décor and friendly, professional staff who are always available. Our room was lovely, well-supplied with amenities, had electric blackout drapes, and the bed was very comfortable. Secure access to the room floor requires the room key. We enjoyed La Plume Restaurant, which has indoor and outdoor seating, and room service. Of note, smoking is allowed on outdoor patios in Paris. Easy walks to the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Pinault Collection at the Bourse de Commerce, Les Halles, Tuliers Gardens, plus numerous cafés and restaurants. We highly recommend the Hôtel Madame Rêve and hope to return soon!

Hotel location, view and interior design are amazing, add to that very confortable and clean rooms. Nonetheless overall experience is quite poor as service quality is really lacking. It has been a huge downside.
We came there fo 2 nights (2nd and 3rd of April) just after our wedding and despite my brother calling them on the day of our arrival to ensure they knew he booked it for that very special occasion, there was no special attention whatsoever.
No welcome drink offered, no upgrade even if the hotel was almost empty, not even a small congratulation card...! We did arrive in our wedding dress and suit so they could not have missed it upon arrival... still didn't rung any bell. Quite unbelievable for such an acclaimed high standard hotel.
Note that we were not provided with wifi code upon registration, roof top terrace was closed (but accessible) and Le plume bar that stated to be open until 2 am was empty with no bar tender even at 00h30! (same thing for Madame reve café downstairs). Cleaning ladies showed upt with their cart around 01h15 and did not bother to call waiters or bar staff. I wonder what are all the cameras for if you don't even notice that guests are waiting to be served? There are no ways to call staff either, maybe add "Help yourself" sign to make the expericence complete.
Breakfast at Le plume is good though, served only until 10.30. Charging 3 euros for 2 dry cold bread slices (cut in half, so 4 pieces for them) is a bit of a rip off if you already pay for a quite tasty and well portionned 17 euros omelette. Even low end traditionnal brasseries serve you bread free of charge with your order. Come on, it is France, where fresh baguette costs around 1 euro, be a bit more generous. "continental breakfast" price is 40 euros.
Small inconvenience is that the entrance door is always closed and does not open automatically even during the day, So if you don't have a room card yet to scan (or forget yours) and the door man is busy with a client, isn't there or simply doesn't see you... you will have to wait in the cold. If needed go through the side entrance to Madame Reve Café and from it to the lobby and elevators.
One service star for the massages, note that it only starts at noon so you can't enjoy it on the day of your departure as you will need to leave the room before the massage and thus could not go back and change after it. It seems a bit like a nonsense.
Another one for welcome desk trustwothyness. My wife forgot her chanel shoes in the lobby when we left the hotel, the staff called us on my cell phone to warn us even before we could notice the loss.

Dear Pierre, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment. We are very happy to read that you enjoyed the design as well as the view over Paris. However, we are deeply sorry to read that our service did not meet your expectations. Your feedback does not match with the memories we want to leave you. Our team should have made a gesture regarding your wedding as we usually do, and we are very sorry to read that this has not been made. Regarding the spa, please not that our treatments rooms are equipped with a changing area as well as a shower so that our guest can enjoy the perfect relaxing moment with us. Best regards, Hôtel Madame Rêve

Perched on the top floor of the renovated central post office, the hotel is perfectly located. Around the corner from the newly renovated Bourse de Commerce museum, the Samaritaine shopping district and the Rue Montorgueil market. Rooms are good size by Parisian standards, very well appointed, with large bathroom and separate WC. The only drawback is the shower head over the incline of the tub. A roof-top terrace with restaurant is open in the summer and is one floor above the rooms . Servics are expensive: breakfast a la carte can easily set you back €40+ Euros and an in-room manicure/pedicure €300.

Madame Rêve is absolutely stunning. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The building is beautiful. The staff was so kind, friendly and helpful. We got there super early and they got our room ready in no time. They also offer to show us another room as an upgrade option (for a bit more $$). Our front desk agent Dorji, went above a beyond to ensure we had the best time. The team knew it was my husband's birthday and they sent a bottle of wine to our room. We upgraded to a room with a balcony. The views from our room were just perfect. The gym and spa were beautiful... small gym but very well equipped. We had breakfast with with our reservation and it was completely worth it. The European breakfast had everything you can ask for and the food was fresh and delicious..

5* hotel. All rooms are on the 3rd floor, very large corridor with one of the “La plume” restaurants. On the ground floor there is another restaurant "the kitchen" open all day which also serves breakfast. On the fourth magnificent rooftop open in summer with a magnificent view of Paris and its roofs

Strange place, above the Louvre post office, where you get lost in labyrinthine corridors.
We enter from the side without having seen the valet, nor knowing that access to the restaurant upstairs is from the inside, we have to go around via rue Étienne Marcel in the rain.
At the entrance the security guard will not let you pass without a reservation in your name.
At the restaurant bar the service is slow and after asking three times for the bill, we go down again, outside and in the rain, to walk to the other restaurant on the ground floor, at the improbable English name for a so-called French restaurant, which does not keep its promises and with staff who do not always even speak it. The bar closes at 11 p.m. and room service is non-existent.
The breakfast is like the place, complicated, disappointing and made for foreign tourists.
If you are looking for a beautiful, authentic Parisian hotel with quality service, don't go there, especially at this price.

One of our all time favourite hotels, with exceptional service.
From the moment we got there, our early check-in request was accommodated and the staff made us feel warm and welcome.
The room had amazing views of Paris, and when we requested an iron, it was there literally as we hung up the phone.
The lighting is romantic and there is an amazing scent that fills the corridors. Paris is itself a romantic city, and this hotel keeps with that theme and then raises that romance somemore.
Amazing hotel in an amazing city. Thank you Madame Reve for the memories. We will only ever return to this hotel in Paris (which is centrally located right outside the Louvre!)

My boyfriend booked this hotel he knew I wouldn’t pay the price for 5star hotel. We used the taxis from train station ( taxis G7 they are nice) and when we arrived they greeted us and check us in and showed areas of hotel and to our room. Our room 335 over looked another building and could see in the distance the Effie tower. Our room was very clean it had a bar/ frig with drinks/ bath robes/ hair drier. The shower and toilet are 2 separate rooms ( both very nice. The bed and pillows were very nice. We didn’t drink the wine or other drinks ( we don’t drink) but I don’t think they are free either.they have a restaurant we tried it for lunch ( was not my kinda menu and for salad ( wasn’t great) and 2 small meat was $70) also has a small gym and sauna.also can go to the roof top to see the view. Parking I am not sure since we took a taxi. No pool. I heard it newly remodeled hotel. It was very nice. You have to use your room key to get into the building and in the elevator to get to your floor ( nice security) it is decent walking distance to gift shops/ restaurants/ and the louve. The really big shopping area I would suggest getting the red big bus tour it will take u to all the good spots and you can hop on and off all day from hotel prob 10min walk to the closest stop.

Hôtel Madame Rêve offers a unique Parisian experience that is hard to match. It is an oasis of serenity in the heart of the city, only a few steps away from the Louvre. We loved our room that overlooked the Parisian roofs. We were able to wake up to a beautiful view of Paris without even leaving our bedroom. Our room was cozy and homey, thanks to the luxurious wood and beautiful natural light all day long. A major plus was that we didn’t have to go far for dinner either. The hotel has two beautiful and very different restaurants depending on what kind of mood you are in. La Plume is a youthful and trendy spot, we enjoyed the DJ and the intimate vibe as well as the excellent food. Madame Rêve Café brings us back to the 19th century Paris, very elegant and sophisticated. The hotel staff was very helpful on giving us advice on the best places and exhibitions to visit. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to live an authentic and contemporary Parisian experience.

The hotel is well located, well decorated and clean. However, the services are, in my opinion, not up to the standard of a 5-star hotel. We found a bedbug in the bathroom and although we were moved to a higher category room, the problem was taken lightly by the staff member who looked after us.
