In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

We have been staying here for some years, having had poor experiences elsewhere. We now won’t stay anywhere else unless we were to really push the boat out. Clean, friendly, in a great location there is nothing not to like about La Perle. If you book direct, do book breakfast, re

We stayed 8 days. They offer three price points for rooms. We picked a Superior room (mid level) facing the interior courtyard because we wanted peace and quiet. You get a discount if you book directly from the hotel website. We didn't select the breakfast option but many did.

We stayed here for 6 nights in August on a multi-generational family trip. We had 5 rooms total, two sets of double connecting rooms and one superior double room. All of the rooms, while somewhat small by American standards, were clean, modern and comfortable. We were travelling

In the St Germaine des Pres area it is Paris charm at it's best. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Our room was smallish but clean, comfortable and the bathroom wonderful. We didn't go more than two streets for our evening meals because there are so many great restaura

My wife and I are arriving at CDG airport on a Delta Flight at 11:15 am from LAX on Tuesday, November 5 and are booked in your Hotel until Saturday the 10 of November. What is the best way to get to your hotel from the airport?
We arrived in Paris by train. We took a taxi to the hotel. An interesting side note is that when my daughter asked the first taxi driver what the cost would be to our given address, he told her it would be 75 euros. We went back into the train station to ask about another mode of transportation. The person at the information was appalled at the price we were told. He looked up the address and told us it should be between 15 and 20 euros. The second cab driver got us there for a little over 15 euros, but I gave him 20. It pays to ask about the rate in advance! 1.Are there typical parisian cafes and local markets nearby? 2. Do the street facing rooms have a nice view?
There are many cafes nearby. I can't comment on the street facing rooms as I had a courtyard view and it was very good.

Hi again, I'm travelling from hotel la perle to Paris beauvais airport Wednesday night @2225 with Ryanair ... what's the best option for getting there with 2 young kids?
The hotel has arranged a private car for us on two occasions. A little more expensive than a taxi but excellent service and painless.

Good morning, We are arriving on Friday night via the Eurostar at about 1830. What is the best way to get from Eurostar to the hotel ? Regards, Luke
I suggest you take a taxi from the train station. There are 2 Metro stops not too far away, but dealing with luggage will be a hassle.

Can you provide more details or pictures of the duplex apartment? Where would you access the apartment from? From one picture, it appears the entrance is next to the breakfast room and therefore would be concerned with noise and security. Is the apt two floors? Are there windows and is there a view to the outside/streets? Thanks
The duplex is entered from the garden courtyard attached to the breakfast area. There is absolutely no issues with security with any part of the hotel. The courtyard is only used for breakfast. It is a quite oasis during the day and evening. Can't answer about the windows or two stories. The street outside is relatively narrow with little traffic and very little noise through the night. I would recommend this hotel.

"Ask for a room at the rear away from rue des Canettes which can get a bit noisy in the early hours at the weekend due to nearby bars."
