Over all great hotel. Situated in a very good neighborhood in central Paris for a very good price, this hotel is a Gem. Clean and cozy room, very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 2 nights. And the hotel is situated in a safe neighborhood and it's only a few meters away from the nearest metro. Every night we...

Amazing location, centre of the city and walking distance to Notre Dame and Louvre. Restaurants and caffes nearby; supermarkets as well. Small but beautiful room. The toilet was small and clean. The breakfast is ok.

My Wife booked a surprise birthday weekend trip to Paris for my 50th. Short hop on Eurostar from Ashford, easy trip on the Metro from Gare du Nord to St Michel and a short walk through the Latin Quarter to the lovely Hotel Minerve. Staff were friendly and welcoming and accepted my poor use of French and accommodated my terrible...

This hotel tops our previous hotel stays in Paris, Location is great, we were given a fantastic room on 5th floor with balcony with a small table, great for breakfast. Good and friendly staff, great service and clean rooms - yes we will definitely stay here on our next visit to Paris.

Not clean (see pic of hair on the blanket). This was not remedied for the duration of our stay. Unhelpful and rude staff. Wifi worked only in lobby for the 5 days we were there (everyday we were told it would also work in the room, tomorrow). A very strange rule - you must leave your room key at the...

Awesome hotel stayed for 5 nights. Wonderful neighborhood with plenty of character and many places to eat - within walking distance of Aeine River. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Easy access to all attractions either via Jussieu metro or bus. Amazing Patisserie across the road and American Diner next door. Reception staff very willing to help - will definitely return.

This hotel is close to the metro and Notre Dame. The room we got was clean end nice but a little bit small. The bathroom was pretty strange because it had a grey glass wall (almost transparent, zero privacy).

Just recently stayed here with my two teen kids. When I booked, the rooms on the website were modern and clean. When I arrived we were given a very small triple that was shabby and old. There are no dressers in the room and one small closet. So there is nowhere to store the clothing. The wallpaper on the walls...

We spent a total of 7 nights at this hotel and the service was excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We had booked the lowest category room online but found it a bit small for us as we had quite a bit of luggage. The hotel upgraded us and gave us a bigger room in the same rate for...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
