I stayed at this hotel a number of years ago (not May this year - see below. The dates didn't go back far enough in time!!). I have booked it again this year. The last time I was there made me so welcome. The receptionist team organised a restaurant for dinner that night and booked a trip to Versailles the...

Great little hotel located close to St Sulpice church and 3 metro stations giving 3 separate lines. Luxembourg Gardens close enough for a pre-breakfast excercise. Louvre, Notre-Dame, bvds St Germain and St Michel all a short stroll away. Restricted but adequate breakfast, extremely friendly and helpful English-speaking staff. Room had everything I needed and was extremely quiet. Highly recommended as...

I was fortunate enough to be able to take a last minute Easter weekend trip to Paris and could not have been more pleased with our choice for a last minute trip. 1st the location was ideal in the 6th - 2 blocks from a Metro stop that made the trip from the airport seamless. Close to Jardin Luxembourg and...

Small hotel, need to improve specially the elevator, but the location is fab! Close to good restaurants and luxemburg gardens. The rooms are great, the bathroom quite big. I've been there a couple of times and surely would stay there again

I stayed at the Bonaparte for 19 nights in September / October 2016. My room was a single, with one twin bed. On one wall was a nice closet with several shelves, a full length mirror inside the door and adequate space to hang clothes. It also contained a mini fridge, which did keep my food cold. The bathroom was...

Just returned from another trip back home in Paris. The Hotel Bonaparte still offers the best value in town. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms that offer the convenience of a safe, TV (including CNN), Mini fridge. Best location with great walks on the left bank that turn to a crossing of the river and continue to the opera and department...

You could not find a better location or friendlier people in Paris. Paris is at your feet when you walk out the front door. You are right amid the action. The people were very helpful. Our room was a little dated in terms of décor, but it was spacious and comfortable. We will definitely return!

The hotel is situated near the St Sulpice church in the Saint Germain des Pres neighborhood. At walking distance from hundreds of restaurants , cafes , metro stations, shops and at the same time in a calm spot, it's location is perfect. The hotel is a XIX century building so its facilities and rooms are old fashioned but that is...

We spent six nights in late September on our third stay at this hotel. The newly renovated rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The staff are superb, always ready to help and very knowledgeable. The location is perfect. Plenty of restaurants one block behind the hotel. An easy stroll to the Sainte...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
