This was my first time in France so in terms of what to expect with room size or customer service I wasn't sure but I'll start off with the positives of my stay. First of all, it is in a great location! Close to two underground train stations as well as a couple of buses. In the area there are...

Top location on the corner between great brasseries and resraurants, metro line 4 just around the corner, but very small rooms, like you cannot move. We slept one night and than for a 20€ more per night got a reasonable room, eventhough I wouldn't say it is for 3*. Personel nice but with very bad English.

Right in Saint Germaine right next to metro and Le Select cafe. Tiny elevator, tiny halls, very small rooms. If you need space, not for you. Everything was very clean though and the place we very well run. Just a good vibe all around.

I would stay there again. Great value, nice decor and superb location for my favourite districts of Paris. The elevator is tiny and quite slow, but room size is not bad actually. Nice walk in shower, good sized. Clean, simple, lovely staff.

We paid for a top floor room at only a small increase on a standard room. Breakfast was available at 11 euro but cafes line the road outside. Room had very comfortable bed, tea making facilities, mini bar and spacious bathroom. Little noise from outside and good blackout curtains. Nice area. Would stay again

Friendly staff, well situated (stone's throw from a metro), and clean. Very very tiny but the shower was great. Near Jardin Luxembourgh and Montparnasse. Good restaurants can be found nearby as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the price.

This hotel is situated in latin quarter Paris. Rooms at the hotel, though not large, but cozy. The bed is soft. Room is relatively quiet - well heard when someone walks in the corridor near the room, but the street sounds not heard when the windows closed. You can go up to your floor by a spiral staircase or by...

Problems in arriving, room was not yet made ( at 3 pm!) and I had to wait, after an eleven-hours flight. The man at the reception was rude and unwilling to give me another room. I finally get to an awful room at the 1st floor and when I asked him to give me back the room I had reserved he...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
