We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room was cosy but big enough. The bathroom has a hairdryer and body/hair wash was supplied. We did the online check-in but had to check in again when we reached the hotel. We did not have breakfast but got charged for it, when I queried it they immediately removed the charge.... More

This hotel was absolutely perfect for a Paris traveler on a budget. My girlfriend and I stayed here in the Summer. While it was a little out of the way from the Eiffel tower it was very close to the Vavin metro line. There was not a self-serve laundry at the hotel but there was a very affordable laundromat just... More

I stayed at the Mercure Paris Montparnasse Raspail during my stay in Paris. This place is super great for it's value. The rooms were of a decent size and the bathroom was pretty good size for my boyfriend and I. It was cleaned everyday and kept very well maintained. We stayed in Room 721, it is a street view with... This hotel is in a great location. You are about 10 minutes walk from the Catacombs and only a couple of minutes walk to Vavin train station. Our room was comfortable, clean and modern. The hotel staff were very friendly and greeted us every time we walked through the foyer area. They have a small restaurant which serves breakfast and... More

Stayed a week in October 2016. Clean room - although small (2 twin beds), reasonable price, and great staff. We ate breakfast at the hotel each day, and it was good, but the price was unclear -- was twice what we thought it was. Still, a great experience, and we would stay there again.

When we arrived at the hotel for a romantic weekend away we was optimistic as the area seemed great and the appearance of the hotel was nice. The receptionist was lovely and directed us to our room (720). From seeing previous reviews I knew the room was going to be small but when it's so small the double bed is... More

This is by far the worst hotel ever. First, the safe didn't work on our third night stay. Second, the shower leaks water. Third, when we returned to our room at night, we noticed our pajamas were on the floor. Fourth, there was NO notice to us that there was no water between 10pm to 6am. We only noticed the... More

This hotel was very nice inside, the rooms were suitable for my needs. As it was a weekend sightseeing it was more of a base point to rest and sleep. Rooms are a bit small even when you book a superior room with 4 more m2 than regular rooms. The bed length was 180cm sharp. Not large as well, probably somewhere between 140 and 160 cm. Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
