There is nothing to be excited about at the Hotel Pax Opera. The location is good and this is the biggest appeal. Rooms are also bright and feel clean and fresh. For the rest, it is rather dull and forgettable. Reception is not particular friendly. I did not take the breakfast - I would advise to go out in the...

Very near to the metro station at the heart of the town, a good choice for those who want to walk around attractive destinations of Paris, such as Monmartre, LaFayette, etc. Staff is very friendly and helpful; breakfast is just okay. Clean and tidy rooms...

The hotel is just a 10 minute walk from Lafayette. We thought this was an ideal location as from Lafayette we were 15 minutes from the Louvre and then just along the Champs Elysee. We managed to see all the main sights in 1 day. There are a few bars and restaurants in the area. A few french supermarkets along...

Great location, friendly helpful staff. The rooms are super clean and really cute. The bathroom setup was a little awkward but fine. The elevator is teeny and fits 2 at a time but it's a small hotel and there's never a wait.

We spent 4 nights at this lovely little hotel, the staff were very friendly and the rooms clean and a good size for Paris standards. The only negative is that it is a little out of the way from the major tourist hotspots eg, effiel tower . Highly recommend and would stay again.

I stayed in the hotel for two nights and enjoyed my stay. I had a room on the top floor which was nice and clean. Unfortunately the internal heating made it difficult to sleep at night as it was quite warm. The hotel staff were friendly and clean, comfortable rooms. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the...

Timely check in. Reasonably priced ample breakfast. Really central. Great 24 hr reception service. Well informed for travel directions and places of interest. Even booked a boat cruise for us. Rooms not big but average side for Paris.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
