This place was a breath of fresh air compared to the other Paris hotels we stayed in for the same price. The rooms are huge for Paris, and the bathrooms were spacious. The hotel looks a bit older than others but it was completely clean and the staff was wonderful. Its location isn't ideal, but the rooms were quiet while...

Stayed here for a city break with a friend and were not disappointed. The rooms are average and the house typically narrow, but it was great value for money. The rooms was small, but ok. The good thing was it was out to the backyard which made it a very quiet experience to sleep at. The location itself is great....

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. Perfect place to stay if you want to be close to the major attractions, close to metro and many food options within a block of the hotel. The front desk staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, the complimentary breakfast was more than appropriate and the room was small but comfortable, with a nice bathroom and...

This hotel would might be a decent value if the front desk was anything less than arrogant and rude. Upon arrival the receptionist doubted the validity of our reservation and if not for the intervention of the hotel manager she would not have accepted the printed confirmation. Unfortunately this rudeness continued throughout our stay. If a welcoming and friendly environment...

... with hotels in Europe... In that case, this hotel is quite satisfactory in transportation (metro, bus, train...), neighboring (MonoPrix...), and breakfast (I realized that you could 'ask' for eggs (omlets, maybe?) at the very last day). Oh, by the way, don't use the metro on the way to / from the hotel with the carriers, because some of the...

When Paris hotels are concerned, one should lower the expectations. With that in mind overall experience was average. Small rooms, average breakfast, good location, no free internet.

We stayed in Hotel Meslay Republique for 3 days and 2 nights as we only had our leisure trip for a weekend around Paris. The location is not bad since it's close to Gare du Nord and very close to the Republique metro station. However, don't expect an elegant view from your room. We had a double room with a...

We stayed at this hotel in mid September and booked it after we had read very positive reviews on Trip Advisor. While the hotel is clean and well-maintained, we were very disappointed with the location of our room on the ground floor next to the lift shaft and near reception. The sound-proofing was poor and we could hear the metro...

We stayed for one night here on our way back to the UK from the south of France and only because I was unable to book our regular hotels in other districts. The hotel itself was good. I had asked for a twin room(because from experience these tend to be larger) only to find that we had been allocated a...

My friend and I stayed here for 3 days over the Bank Holiday weekend. We travelled to Paris by Eurostar and the hotel is only 10 minutes on the metro from Gard Du Nor on the same line. The hotel is approx 2 minutes walk from the metro which was brilliant for getting around. We also walked around a lot...
