Second time staying here. It is becoming my favourite place to stay in Paris. Location is convenient for Metro or walking for sightseeing and just minutes from all kinds of restaurants and cafes. The staff was friendly and room really comfortable. Check in was quick and smooth, the room had a flat screen tv, digital cable, and a big comfortable...

The hotel has a really great value for money. It is situated very conveniently near 2 metro stations, walking distance away from Montparnasse and Jardin du Luxembourg. There are lots of cafes and bakeries nearby, a supermarket, even a number of popular high-street shops. The rooms are small, but good enough for Paris, very cozy and clean. There's a mini-fridge,...

This was our first time in Paris and we had a wonderful stay at BW Aramis St. Germain. The location is right across the street from the metro station so it was convenient to get to everywhere we wanted to. You could be anywhere in Paris and find your way back to the hotel by taking the metro. There are...

Having heard a few horror stories about Parisian hotels, I spent a good bit of time trying to find a decent hotel that was well located, not too pricey and with good sized rooms. Overall, this hotel did not disappoint at all. It's just metres from the Metro train station, making it very convenient for both airport and TGV connections....

There are a million hotels in Paris. I have stayed in some of the nicest and fanciest and some of the dingiest. This hotel is nothing fancy, but it has a great location and the bed is clean and comfy and the bathroom is clean and has a decent shower. Would stay here again, it's a good deal for the...

Location close to the Montparnasse tower – with many bars and restaurants nearby. Small hotel - typical of so many in the centre of Paris – good service from the front desk. Rooms are nice / quite small – get a high floor if you don’t want to be woken up by traffic in the morning – however the hotel...

We stayed here for a week in May. We have stayed in the area before, but this was our first time at this hotel. We arrived mid-morning and our room was ready. There is a small elevator that fits 2 people with luggage. Our room was on the second floor. The room was very clean and in good condition. The...

We stayed at Aramis for four nights in July and it was a great experience overall. The hotel is steps away from two subway lines and is in a shopping district with cafes and restaurants at its doorsteps. The concierge was always friendly and helpful and also helped us book a tour. The room itself was not large but it...

We booked two identical double rooms using a booking agency, and were given two room keys on arrival. One room was lovely - just like the photos on the website - spacious, with floor-ceiling windows, even in the pretty blue+white bathroom. The other room couldn't have been more different - so small that the door banged into the bed, no...

The location of the hotel is close to two different subway stops, tons of shopping, and a grocery store. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Though the rooms were just average rooms with no real frills, but clean and tidy.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
