Great staff. Massey, Fausto and Luis were exceptional. Rooms were much larger than expected. Very close to 2 metro subway stations. Very centrally located in a beautiful area. Having the toilet separate from bathroom was a big hit for us (family of 4). Free wifi. Don't have breakfast in the hotel. Too expensive when compared to the various restaurants close...

Great Location! Roissy Bus stop(shuttle from CDG airport), Metro, RER A (Disney) all within a 5 minute walk! Very spacious room. We stayed with our two daughters 8 and 10 years old. The main bed was huge - could have really slept all four of us. I think is was two queens pushed together. The sofa then turned into a...

Our family (my boyfriend, our 3 years old son and I) really enjoyed our stay in Astra Opera Hotel. Room was really clean with pleasant décor and comfortable bed (it was massive - look like two double beds were pushed together). Staff at reception was really polite and helpful with most of them speak good enough English. Location was also...

I wanted a central location, close to the main sights as I was travelling to Paris for the weekend with my sister and 2 nieces. I must say the location did not disappoint. The Champs Elysees was a 10 min walk from the hotel. We took the L'Open Tour bus ticket and the office for this was close to the...

I was sent to this hotel following a disastrous situation faced at another hotel of the same group where an (alleged) IT problem disrupted the reservations made and paid in advance and they got me a room at this one. The only problem was that this hotel's location was worse in my particular case for business reasons, but it's quite...

I stayed at this hotel for 1-night while I was on a transit to London. The room was definitely big enough and the bed amazingly comfortable. And I noticed that the receptionnist was very welcoming to me and I do like the cosy decoration of the lobby. I did not have the opportunity to try the breakfast. I definitely recommend...

We booked this hotel because of the location which is ideal for a short visit to the City. The hotel is on a quiet street close to many attractions and ideal for shopping, being within a few minutes walk from Printemps and Lafayettes. The hotel itself is lovely and clean throughout although the rooms we had on the 1st floor...

We had a 4 person room for week. Although we were a little cramped we managed. The room although old was tidy but a had funky smell as you entered. Don't ask for room 100. Th bathroom was remodeled and had a half bath which was clever. Breakfast was very fresh with high quality foods. The staff was very polite...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
