Nice hotel for price, located near Opera and a short walk to Louvre. You must ask for room in back or you will not sleep due to traffic, and sirens at all hours of the night. This is NOT a 4 star hotel - a nice 3 perhaps 3.25 depending on your room location etc. Almost impossible to watch tv...

The staff is great. Good location. Close to the train stations. Short walk to the Louvre. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Easy access to the metro. Just down the street from the Gallerie Lafayette.

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in December. First impressions were that the reception could probably do with an update, it's also quite basic but adequate considering location. It just doesn't really give the impression of a 4 star hotel. We had room 314 on the 3rd floor, overlooking the Boulevard Montmartre and a side...

The location was highly convenient and in a very safe part of town for a tourist unfamiliar with the area. The room we were given had a breathtaking view over the street on the 6th floor with a huge terrace. The breakfast was only 20 € and worth every penny. Expansive selection of quality foods.

Considering some of the pitfalls of booking in Paris this was a nice modern hotel with excellent service. A central location with plenty of places to eat close by made it ideal for what I needed. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Quite convenient location at the heart of Paris and next to metro station. Room was clean but a bit small. The hotel rate was on the expensive side. There was a bit of noise in the room, possibly from the metro train.

Staff were very friendly, room was clean and of a reasonable size for a city centre. only downside (and it is a first world problem so not too worried) is that the shower was not very powerful. I didn't eat here so can't comment on the food.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
