Okay, you know Paris has small hotel rooms. We're below average size and the rooms here were adequate but if you are "oversized", you will probably find this unsuitable. The elevator can accommodate two people and luggage (if you're not claustrophobic) and there's no walking...More

Rer let u on middle of gare du nord and is not a regular mini subway station. So just look to exit " rue de dunkerque. If you feel lost , follow the crowd to go the the long distance train station (" grandes lignes") , you ll end up in the main hall of the train station. Then look for the main gate.
From there, cross the road ( rue de dunkerque) follow the half pedestrian road ( boulevard de denain- abt 500 meters long) , left turn on magenta ( a road to cross : rue la fayette) and 50 m on left. this is it. Google map pretty accurate. Too close for a taxi.

The nearest metro station is Gar de norte train station. You need to take the metr exit that is across the street from the nain entrance to the train station. When you reach street level go left down the street away from the train station. At the first intersection turn left and walk past one street and the hotel is right thre on your left. Total walking time: 5 minutes.
The connection to metro is good. If you are on a different train you can get off at the East Train Stayion. The walk is a little further but still under 10 minutes.
Hope that helps.
