We enjoyed our stay at the Alexander hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. While the rooms are not large and the bathroom was quite small, it was very clean and nicely furnished. The location was close to a metro stop and we took it everywhere, even with our luggage in tow. The neighborhood is very safe and clean. There...

The hotel location is good. We arrived early in the morning and left our bagagge for check in after 2:00 pm. It is hard to understand why we were given a miniscule room when we came back around 5:00 pm because we at no point hurried them for a room. There was hardly space to move about the room. Couldn´t...

My husband and I travelled to Paris for a weekend. We booked the Melia Alexander and asked for a room with a king bed or 2 double beds. When we arrived they tried to up-sell us to a larger room for 30 euro/night. Our room was a little bigger than a broom closet. We barely had room to walk around...

Stayed 2 nights at hotel Alexander, good early check-in, very close to parking garage. First try to sell upgrade from very very small room to very small room for €40 a night, which was ridiculous. As said, the rooms were very small and not very clean, except the (mini) bathroom (never seen such a small bathroom in my life). Our...

I read some of the negative reviews AFTER purchasing my few nights at this hotel. I was a bit weary when entering its doors, but it was a good experience! Honestly, I have nothing to complain about. The service was thorough and prompt. As others have said, the location is perfect. All I could ask for is free internet!

We stayed at Melia in early July for 4 nights. Rooms were tiny but that is not my major complaint. My complaint was that they over billed us $15 Euros for internet access we did not use. Brought this up to management but they would not credit us for this over billing. We'll need to contact our bank to get...

We bid/won this hotel via Priceline, with the criteria being that it was a 4-star hotel. While the hotel was nice, there is no way that it was truly 4 stars. There were numerous deficiencies: trash under the bed, hair in the shower drain, no washcloths, no mattress pad on our bed, etc. However, the worst issue with our room...

I was in Europe for two weeks in early May and spent 3 nights at the Melia Alexander with a friend from May 3rd to May 6th. I got the hotel through Priceline and was extremely concerned after reading many of the negative reviews. After emailing them I learned that only one of the 6 floors floors still allowed smoking....

I stayed in this hotel over the May bank holiday with my girlfreind and i have to say we were totally impressed with it. We booked it through a last minute website, and knew it was a 4 star hotel but didnt know what to expect. When we arrived, it was late at night, and was only a 10 minute...

We got the hotel room from Priceline. 4-star close to Champs-Elysee, we were very hopeful. I was traveling with my wife and my young daughter. At check-in time, we were told that the room we booked from Priceline was no good. It was their policy that we had to upgrade to a bigger room since there were 3 people, no...
