Loved the fresh, modern, and slightly off-beat decor. Our room was a nice size with a beautiful bathroom. I think I booked a 'double' and was expecting a double bed, but it was larger than that. Fun & funky map of the city over our bed on the wall. This place was renovated in 2014 and is beautiful. The breakfast...

I have stayed at this lovely little hotel in 2006, 2012 and again last month. It has undergone some renovations that make it more modern and the lobby is much nicer. The rooms are European standard which is to say small by American standards but the location and neighborhood make up for it! After all, you don't spend much time...

This wonderful hotel was perfectly places for our recent four day stop-over in Paris. Right in the centre of the bustling 9th district and 200 metres from St. Gorges metro station, we could walk easily to almost all of the major attractions on our itinerary. The room was perfect too - it was a little tight but presented as a...

Located about 15 min walk from Gare du Nord and 5 min walk from Pigalle and Moulin Rouge, 3 Poussins is an independent hotel, in a quiet street of 9th Arr. Tidy and cosy, the rooms are rather small. Breakfast is nice and offers quite a large variety of food to stay the day. It is served in the basement....

This is a traditional building with a chic quirky decor. It has lovely, friendly feel to it. The staff are very welcoming with good English. We had a rooftop room on the 6th floor (there is a lift but we loved the spiralling staircase!). It was fine for us as a couple with one child. Compact but very comfortable with...

Stayed here in 2006 and loved it so much we returned again on this trip 10 years later. The hotel has been renovated so is even better than before. This time we also managed to get a much better room which catered for 3 adults comfortably - the Sacre Coeur room. A tiny downside is you have to be really...

We visited Paris during April & May 2016 & had a lovely comfortable stay at this Hotel. Continental breakfast was included in a delightful dining area. Our room was very nice & overlooked a pleasant courtyard. The staff were very helpful & friendly & we can recommend the hotel for value for money. However (nothing to do with the hotel)...

I had an upper floor room. The hotel was very full due to the marathon. They let me check in very early, which was super nice of them because I had caught a red-eye flight from Washington. I was just staying for an overnight. Not much to say about the hotel. Just a small boutique hotel with nice rooms and...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
