I travel to Paris at least 3-5 times a year for both work and leisure. I usually use another 3 star hotel in central Paris but on this occasion a colleague booked our accomodation based on the location being close to meetings we had scheduled on Avenue Kleber. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the Champs Elysees. If...

Upon arrival, the receptionist was unable to confirm if breakfast was included in our package. He suspected not and told us to ask in the morning where we would be given 'a good price'. We refered to our room on the first day as a cupboard it was so small. As I was staying with my Mum, we needed to...

Hotel is in a small side street (so quiet) less than 5mins walk from the metro station. It's about 10mins from the arc de triumphe and the eiffel tower. There are some nice restaurants on the main road for dinner and a small supermarket in the same street as the hotel. So location is excellent. The rooms are small but...

The walls are too thin in this hotel. You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbour is doing from speaking on the phone to using the toilet. Impossible to get a good night's sleep if you have noisy neighbours. Beware!

An amazing and incredible staff that made my stay most memorable. Lovely rooftop views. Just minutes from the Eiffel Tower in one direction and the Arc de Triomphe in the other direction. The perfect central location for anyone to enjoy Paris ! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys that personal touch in a small, intimate setting

Definitely a solid three star hotel in a great location, halfway between the arc de triumphe and the eiffel tower, and a 5 minute walk to the metro. The rooms are on the smaller side, but adequate. Our room was quiet and clean, and we got good value for our money. Breakfast was a little bit on the pricey side,...

We travel a fair amount and we were delighted with this hotel. Like any older hotel in a big city, whether it's London, New York or Paris, the rooms, including the bathroom, are on the smaller side, but who goes to Paris to hang out in their hotel? Our room looked into a small courtyard, it (well the hotel in...

We visited this hotel in Easter this year and were expecting a little bit more for our money. The room was tiny (we could barely unpack our suitcases), there was no view and the hotel didn't have the greatest appearance. The only good thing about this hotel is probably it's location - 7 min walk to a nearby metro stop...

As many have noted, this hotel is a great combo of value and location- 10 min from Eiffel Tower, 10 min from Arc D Triomphe, but still in a quiet location...what's not to like? The front desk staff was very helpful, and always very tolerant of our "French-English." Two very odd, and very minor things: the room itself did not...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
