Location and convenience is the selling point, the hotel is small and staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was tiny as expected, tiny closet and shower but everything worked- our room faced the back which was quiet from street noise but there's a big building project behind the hotel that is very noisy on weekday mornings. 10-15 minute walk...

We have stayed in hotels all over Paris and were very pleased with this location. Easy walk to the Latin quarter and Ile de la cite with Notre Dame. The immediate area is pleasant with art galleries and antique shops plus lots of restaurants. Buildings all old and beautiful. Nice buzz in streets and feels safe. Deux Magots and Cafe...

This was a small but perfect place to stay in St Germain. In the middle of the art galleries and close to everything. No parking but we didn't drive in Paris anyway. Close enough to walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. Great places to eat every where,

The staff and the location of this hotel really are the selling features. It is just off the main quay that runs along the Seine River and in the very trendy St Germain neibourhood. We were a 10 minute walk to the Louvre and Notre Dame and a number of Metro stations to get wherever else you want to go....

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel recently and thought it was fantastic. The location couldn't be better within walking distance from lots of shops, restaurants and attractions. Reception were friendly and helpful, it was very clean with very comfortable beds. If I had to pick, a mirror over the dressing table would be good and a proper bar....

We arrived early from the airport as our flight from the US landed at 6:45. They didn’t have a room but brought us down to breakfast which was set in a nicely decorated room downstairs. They soon had a room ready for us and we were able to freshen up and dive into Paris sightseeing. The service staff at the...

I stayed here for only one night with my husband. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very funky/unique! I like the charm and perfect location to all of the popular attractions in Paris! The rooms are a bit outdated, but seemed clean. Our bathroom was very strange. The shower water would spray all over the bathroom...

I loved this hotel and what a great deal when you book in advance! While booking, I went back and forth with the staff a few times in order to choose a room that would meet my requirements. I was even able to choose the decor I wanted. I mentioned that I was worried about the black mold claims from...

Right at Pont Neuf! I thought the room small at first, but was expecting that. Beds (we had two twin beds placed adjacent to each other) were firm with a soft topper -- perfect for us! Bathroom was in good shape. We stayed in a "superior double" room on 2nd floor (European system: ground floor = 0). The lift was...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
