This hotel made my solo trip to Paris an absolute dream! I booked a single standard through a package with Air France and asked ahead if I could please get a room with a street view and balcony. Room 42 is amazing! Double bed, safe,...More
My trip to Paris was July 2010 so this review is way over due! The Mayfair was an excellent choice in so many ways. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than expected but it was comfortable and appropriate since our...More
We booked a 'suite' and were given a large room and small antechamber on the top floor which was badly in need of renovation. The carpet was stained in many places; the walls were stained throughout; the plastic flowers added nothing to the decor, and...More
Everyone at the hotel were nice and pleasant. Check -in was quick, luggage was delivered in to the room right away. 10 euro for Internet per day. We had breakfast buffet, which was OK - bread, butter, cheese, salami, fruits, yogurt, eggs. Room was big...More
We stayed in the family room and it was refreshingly large for a room in Paris. The hotel staff was very welcoming and the stay was very relaxing. The location was perfect, in walking distance from the Louvre and many other sites! Highly recommended!
From the majestic Louvre to the regal Palais-Royal, this neighbourhood oozes luxury. The grand arches along Rue de Rivoli are shadowed by mosaics in front of decorated vitrines and hotels. Place Vendôme is lined with the world’s best jewelers and their glittering window displays. Every other establishment has someone to open the door for you or park your car. You can spend hours gazing at its haute couture shops
or lingering over a meal at any of its chic eateries. After all that indulgence, the Tuileries gardens provide stately respite, while theatres compete for your applause. It's a neighbourhood that draws admirers from around the world, all attracted to the luxe life in Paris.

There is a little restaurant literally right next door - you walk out the door and it is on the right hand side. They have a good breakfast and a small bar. It is great for coffee and breakfast, and the pricing for that was fine, but I would not recommend getting orange juice there, as the price of juice seemed to be ridiculously expensive.
