We stayed in the family room and it was refreshingly large for a room in Paris. The hotel staff was very welcoming and the stay was very relaxing. The location was perfect, in walking distance from the Louvre and many other sites! Highly recommended!

We stayed here the last week of February for our honeymoon and had a superior room. The hotel is close to everything, we were able to walk everywhere including across the siene to the notre dame, st germaine area, etc. Paris is like NYC in that places seem far aren't because there's so much to see along the way. The...

The hotel is so charming. The location couldn't be better. Close to the Louvre, the Seine, the trains, view of the Eiffel tower. Great breakfasts! Large bathrooms. Just so enjoyable!

Hotel: I got back from Paris yesterday and I stayed at the Mayfair with my husband for our first anniversary. Upon arriving we checked into a standard room (may have been called superior, I cant remember) The room was very clean and well presented and had everything you would expect. (safe, huge wardrobe, TV etc) and the bathroom was huge!...

This is a Great Hotel to use as a base of operations for 3-4 days to see the city of Paris. The location can't be beat - two blocks from the Place de la Concorde and a major metro interchange. Unless you are planning to spend huge amounts of time in your room or at the hotel's spa, don't waste...

Wonderful hotel. Perfect mix of French decor (toile, high ceilings,French doors/windows to balcony overlooking the Tuilleries) with modern amenities( all marble bathroom and flat screen). We had a deluxe room and it was lovely. Right off Rue de Rivoli near many pricier hotels. Great location ; many cafes, 8 min. to Louvre, 2 min. to Concorde, 5 min. to Madeleine....

All other reviews of this hotel are correct - hotel Mayfair is an absolute gem. The hotel is located on a quiet street, yet within walking distance to a number of Parisian attractions such as the Louvre, Champs Elysees, Opera, shops, Place Vendome, and the Left Bank. Rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and spotlessly clean. Bathrooms are gorgeus with very...

We stayed at the Hotel Mayfair during November 2010. The location is excellent and we found the staff friendly and the accommodation clean, bright and comfortable. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a special little hotel in an excellent location.

You can't beat the location of this hotel but, the rest of it is very average. For over €200 per night you would expect more. The decor is pretty outdated and the beds are not comfortable. The service is not great. The staff were nice but, their knowledge and recommendations were lacking. We changed rooms a few times as we...
