We were greeted warmly on check in, and asked about our journey, and any plans we might have whilst in Paris. There appeared to be a genuine interest in what we might like to do, without any pushing of any particular landmark, or activity.
On entering the room, there were personalised messages on a mirror and also a postcard, along with some small gifts, and a single flower. Touches like this can make you feel much more welcome.
The room was spotlessly clean, and smelled fresh. The AC was plenty efficient and quiet and kept the room at a comfortable temperature throughout our stay, when the outside temperature was into the late 20’s Celsius.
Breakfast was included in our room rate, and was good every day. Plenty of choice, and very very attentive staff. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured to eat and leave quickly.
The staff are what make this hotel an amazing place to stay. They are personable, polite, and take interest in what you would like to do. They make fabulous recommendations for restaurants, or places to go, and even highlighting an Olympic boutique which had a sale on (rather than inflated prices in the souvenir stores)
They would ask your plans every morning when you saw them, and then ask how your day was when you returned to the hotel.
We didn’t have any issues at all with the hotel or the staff, but I imagine if we had, they would have been dealt with quickly.
The location of the hotel is also superb. 5 minutes walk from Cadet, and mostly no more than 30 minutes slow walking to many other prominent landmarks. There are loads of restaurants within a 20 minute walk, and the area always felt very very safe.
If you want to treat yourself, book your stay here.
If you want to feel welcome, book your stay here.
If you want to be comfortable, book your stay here.
In fact, just book your stay here. You won’t regret it.

The good: the location is excellent and it allows you to get to pretty much all of the best parts of the city in under 30min by public transit. Additionally the lobby is quite lovely, as were the common spaces we experienced.
The not-so-good: Our room was decorated nicely and was aesthetically appealing. But there were some odd shortcomings. The room was located on the street side of the hotel and had a lovely window that overlooked the street, but that same window had little soundproofing and we were able to hear basically everything on the street at all times of day. This wasn’t an issue during the day but when were trying to sleep at night we could clearly hear people standing in front of the hotel laughing and talking loudly and it caused us to not sleep well.
The bathroom was also an issue for us. The shower has the half door design that allows water to constantly splash outside of the shower when it’s used. The floor was constantly in water. Also the shower tiles and floor tiles looked very dirty/aged. Maybe the grout in between needed to be cleaned or redone but I felt uncomfortable in the bathroom my whole stay. Additionally one morning we had no hot water for about an hour and that was time that we needed to get ready to leave for scheduled activities. The hot water eventually came later in the day when we checked but a hotel of this caliber and rating should not have this issue.
Finally, the service at the hotel was inconsistent. We came across several very friendly and helpful people working the front desk, but we had several encounters that left a bad taste in our mouth. One was when we brought salads back from a nearby restaurant and wanted to quickly eat them in the coworking space due to the lack of seating in our room. As soon as we sat down, we were told you could not eat there and had to leave. That was fine except for the fact that the next day we saw a dinner setup in the exact same space. Also at check-in we were asked if we needed any recommendations or help with reservations or activities. We said yes, and described what we needed help with and were told that someone would follow-up with us shortly. Unfortunately, no one ever followed up with us and we ended up having to figure out our own reservations for that day. The housekeeping was also oddly executed. Sometimes they didn’t come until midafternoon even after we had been away for 6-7 hrs, and when they did come sometimes they replaced the towels, sometimes they didn’t; they also did not refill the big shower gel that was mounted in the shower for the entirety of our stay and it was empty after day 2 of our 5 day stay.
Maybe our experience was an anomaly but I believe there are hotels that offer better value for the quality of facilities and services provided in the area, and I would not likely stay here again.

The hotel is in a traditional Parisian building and the rooms were clean and nicely decorated with lots of individual touches. This is a nice contrast to corporate hotels. One big plus for me - you can open the windows and soak up the atmosphere from the street below.
The staff were all really friendly and super helpful. Their knowledge of the area meant they could give us some helpful recommendations of where to eat and where to shop. They had also set up a guide to the Olympics - how to get to the venues etc.
If we return to Paris we would definitely stay in this hotel again.

The location was nice — it was less than a 15 minute walk to the train station (but still felt safe and tucked away), and it was an easy 30 minute walk to many other fun spots around the city. I will definitely stay here again when I come back!

Sophia checked us in and she was extremely nice and welcoming. We arrived in Paris earlier than expected and though our room wasn’t ready yet, they safely held stored our bags so we were able to start exploring the city right away. The staff were always so helpful when we asked them for restaurant recommendations or metro navigation and they always wrote down notes for us to bring with us which was helpful since we did not speak French and we could instead show people the note card if we ever stopped to ask for help on our journey.
When our room was ready, we were welcomed with a Taylor Swift “lover” theme in our room which had 2 heart balloons, a friendship bracelet from the hotel staff, and song lyrics written subtly on the mirrors in our room. This was such a cute and fun personalized touch that showed that this hotel would go the extra mile to make us feel welcomed!
Though the room was sort of small, we loved the art work in our room and throughout the hotel. The breakfast spread was delicious and I loved being able to make my own soft boiled eggs- a French classic!
If you are in Paris we highly recommend this hotel! Close to the 7 and 9 metro rail lines, this location is a short trip into the center of Paris. The staff is also unmatched in their hospitality, and I am confident I would stay here again if visiting Paris in the future!
