Good hotel to visit Moulin rouge or basilica Sacre Coeur. Few steps from Metro station Pigalle. Breakfast very simple (as in ibis) ... In total not bad hotel ... (be careful - a lot of sex shops around).

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We booked this hotel as members of Accor hotels. We hadn't ever stayed at Mercure before. We paid for a superior room and when we arrived our room wasn't ready. Veronique gave us another room. We took the elevator and were surprised by getting a privileged room! With a view of the Sacré Coeur and balcony! We couldn't believe it!...

Arrived in the evening on Eurostar and short ride from Gard du Nord. Some complications with my last-minute booking which the receptionist quickly resolved and upgraded to Room 15. Excellent room for Paris standards. Decent food options at the nearby corner. Breakfast is what it is and efficient check out by Veronique. Overall decent location for one night b &...

Small Entrance, Good quick check in. No upgrade for platinum member. Only complimentary drink for one. Very compact room with a very small bathroom and even smaller balcony. Quiet hard bed. Odd showerhead in bath as you can't hang it up higher. Had a false fire alarm at 8.00am one morning, had to phone to reception and was informed that...

Dear Mister Singh Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Mercure Paris Pigalle Sacre Coeur. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations concerning the alarm fire; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. It offered a very good price for the night and was close to Paris Nord Station . It's very close to Montmartre (10 mins. walking to the top), Pigalle metro (3 mins. or less) and not too far from the central area. Good restaurants near the hotel and their breakfast was also very good. People were very friendly and the...

I would like to share my horrible experience staying at Mercure Paris Pigalle Sacre- Coeur in late December 2016. Personally, I don't feel I am in a good mood every time I have to write a review particularly for those bad ones. Upon our arrival, as usual we proceeded with check-in process. Check-in was efficient and within 10 minutes of...

A simple hotel in the Sacre Couer district, the hotel has been modernised and is relatively clean. The hotel is surrounded by sex shops and I imagine this is why it is cheaper than others! Good quality hotel, cosy and comfortable rooms - pay extra and get the room with the view on the Sacré-Cœur with a balcony. Friendly staff, nice location, the only bad thing is: poor wine list and this is a shame in France. Otherwise, it's clean and close to Pigalle metro station.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
