Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for 3 nights as a family of five in December. Our double room was very small and compact, our kids room was a little bigger but then it did cater for 3 people. It was a Priviledge Room which included daily drinks in the fridge which was very nice. Nicely furnished rooms with windows that open which is great for people who hate the heat from over heated European hotels Tea and coffee was provided in the rooms also. The Hotel was located in one the many small back streets, quite busy though at night and close to the Grand Boulevard. Shops, such as Galeries Lafayette were about a 15 minute walk away. Nice buffet breakfast in the basement of the Hotel, very small and very crowded though, have to pick your 'time' to go. Staff were friendly enough, some moreso than others. Would recommend staying, for a 4 star in Paris it was not bad.

We discovered this hotel by searching for a family room and found out they have some appartements. They actually have at least 2.
These apartments are great for families. Entrance via the ground floor, toilets and couch are there. On the first floor, a living room with a sofa bed (unfolds in two real beds), a dining table, small kitchen including microwave, dishwasher and nespresso machine.
And a separate bedroom with a bathroom.
Living room is big enough even with the sofa bed unfolded, managing to have dinner, have a small table with 2 chairs. Just perfect.
And the place is quite cozy, wooden ceiling, old stones on the floor.
The only negative (and not big) is that you hear quite well when people from the other apartments go up the stairs.
To reach the appartmenrs, you go via the hotel and go outside to the inner court of the building.
So clearly super calm at night, no noise at all.
As for the hotel itself, the breakfast is as expected, nice and good. Staff is super friendly.
Also as it has a kitchen, it’s worth noting that there are lots of little shops in the neighbourhood to get all the food you need.

We had a very nice room on the second floor. The staff were very accommodating, attentive, and spoke English. The buffet style breakfast was amazing. The water fountain was very helpful for filling our water bottles. Room service was good. The elevator is too small for a couple with luggage. We had to go one at a time. The corridors are narrow and the room was cramped. My wife and I each had two suitcases and we could barely move around in our room. This might be common for hotels in Paris.

Our experience was not great at this hotel. We were booked (through Costco travel) for a 3 night stay but checked out after day 1 and moved to another hotel despite knowing we will likely not be refunded.
To prefece this review we are from America where bigger most times is better. Everything at this hotel was tiny and frankly claustrophobic. The hotel itself is in a small alley on a 1-way street. Nice location in the opera district, but a good 30min (or more w traffic) from attractions like the Eiffel Tower and Lourve.
Our experience was the entire hotel felt like a tiny dollhouse. Elevator barely fit 2 people, hallways were narrow and dark, room barely fit the double bed and no way 2 people could fit in the bathroom at once to get ready. The breakfast was very good but the area for eating was like eating in a small cave with low ceilings. What led us to leave after 1 night was ultimately the staff, who we found short and very unwelcoming from the first arrival to our departure. On night one we inquired at the front desk if a larger room was available, the staff member was very short and stated all the rooms were the same size. In general, we were made to feel like an annoyance instead of a "guest." We booked at the Hyatt near the Eiffel Tower and couldn't be happier. Our experience has been the complete opposite with early check-in allowed, an open and spacious (for Paris) room and air conditioning that works.
If you like quaint and claustrophobic maybe this hotel is for you. For us it wasn't the right fit.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during the Paris Olympics and whilst it was a decent base for our events, the hotel has a lot left to be desired. The hotel is very outdated and I think we were particularly spoilt by staying at a Mercure hotel in Nice before visiting here, which made the hotel look even worse. The staff were a little intense on check in and although it was confirmed to me before and during check in that we had a late checkout of 1pm, we received a call on the final day telling us that we had to be out by 10am. It all seemed very unorganised and as if the staff don't communicate with one another. We were also placed in an accessibility room, which we felt particularly bad about in case they were trying to get us out quick in case somebody who actually needs the room was waiting. Again, this is something that staff should think about when assigning rooms. The room was quite small and being an accessibility room, the bathroom was prone to flooding which made it very difficult to place certain things in the bathroom. The only positive that I have about this hotel is the breakfast. The breakfast was really tasty with a good variety and friendly and attentive staff who were always available to refill drinks/offer coffee and teas, which was very much appreciated.
I would personally not recommend this hotel and think that there are better places elsewhere. Big shout out to the breakfast staff though, they were lovely and in my opinion, the best part of the hotel.

Dear Lauren, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay with us. Your comments regarding the outdated facilities and room assignment have been duly noted. A renovation of all our rooms is planned in the coming months. We are sorry if your requested to have a late check/out was not satisfied and if there was a miscommunnication with our staff, however we are surprised to hear that you were asked to leave the room by 10am as check/out time is at 12pm. We strive to provide a seamless experience for all our guests, and we regret that we fell short on this occasion. Rest assured, we will address these issues internally to enhance our service quality. On a brighter note, we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast offerings and found our staff to be friendly and attentive. Your kind words will be shared with the team. We appreciate your valuable feedback as it helps us improve. Should your travels bring you back to Paris, we would be grateful for the opportunity to welcome you again and provide a more favorable experience. Warm regards, Alexia CAVALCANTI Deputy Manager

Had such a great time in Paris. One big problem tho....got my card cloned, the card that was never used in Paris and has never left the safety locker of the room 101 in this hotel! Care to explain? Do you have security cameras we could look into? I am certain that the card was never used in France and was never taken out from the safety box, so is my bank, who I already filled a report with. Zero transactions in France when I was there, only when I was already back to my country which I was also able to prove. My card was physically being used in France while I am sitting right in front of my account manager in a whole different country (such luck). I am not sure who is involved in this, but this time you are getting caught. I am coming to you!! - Get back to me not to present excuses on behalf of your staff but to tell me that you are willing to comply with further investigation on every single member you have. Thanks!

Our rooms weren't ready until 3 hours after check in time. AC didn't work in either room. Rooms smelled musty. Rooms were tired and felt low quality in terms of furniture, paint, bedding, beds. Breakfast was like that of staying at a 2 star hotel buffet. Eggs were watery, breads were dry, very limited choices... not worth it.

We stayed here for six nights in September 2022. It was a wedding anniversary trip and we spent three days in Disney before coming into Paris. We thought the location was excellent. I read some of the other recent reviews and I can honestly say that we found the area very safe. The nearest metro is Bonne Nouvelle but there are quite a few other stations within walking distance. What we really liked was that it was just a short walk down to Bonne Nouvelle where there are so many restaurants. We went to a different one every evening. You can walk from the hotel to the Louvre, it’s about half an hour walk. We walked nearly everywhere. On our return trip to Charles de Gaulle we walked to the station Gare du Nord and when we got nearer to the station the street was full of people hanging around. But nothing untoward was happening. I don’t know the name of the street, it wasn’t one we had been in before. So maybe take the metro to Gare du Nord. Anyway, we liked the hotel. Our room was lovely and faced the front. There was a restaurant facing us and on a few days a bar adjacent. But it wasn’t noisy enough to affect us. The lift is small but the hotel itself is not particularly big so it was fine. Overall I would say we enjoyed our stay and liked the location. On the last day we left our cases and returned later for them. One final thing - about a minute from the hotel is a Michelin star restaurant called Eels. We weren’t in it but I read good reviews of it.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The room had no functioning air conditioning, a dead orchid, and a towel left out of place, making it clear that it hadn't been properly prepared. Despite reporting the issue, the second room we were moved to had the exact same problem. My partner was so stressed that he needed medication to cope. We ended up switching hotels, which cost us $650 per night. The only positive aspect was the view, but it hardly made up for the distress and inconvenience we experienced. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Hello, Could you please contact us at h9688-om@accor.com in order to provide the dates of your stay and room number? The issues mentioned in your review do not seem to reflect reality. The air conditioning in our hotel works, and we do not have any orchids in the hotel. We never received any complaints about health issues caused by their stay, so we think that your review was published to the wrong hotel. In this case, we kindly ask you to check and remove it, or contact us for further explanations. Alexia CAVALCANTI Deputy Manager

I am staying at this hotel right now, room 606, not able to sleep because some woman is going around knocking at people's doors in the middle of the night, I have nothing better to do so I decided to write a review and because I'm in such a bad mood, it won't be a good one. Not the hotel's fault, but they seem to attract the type of guests that have no respect for others. In addition to this, the rooms are small, badly equipped and have these really low ceilings that make them feel very claustrophobic and not suitable for anyone averagely tall. The hotel is centrally located but the area is really rough, full of drunks, homeless, beggars and gangs of unruly kids. The beds are hard and the pillows even more. Also, Paris is not what it used to be, it has declined so much, how about Barcelona?

Dear Eslemact, Thank you for taking the time to leave a feedback after your stay with us. We are sorry to read that your stay did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately we are not reponsible if a guest knocks at people's door at knight and we can assure you that this is not at all the type of guest we usually have in our hotel. All our rooms are different, so do not hesitate to ask the Reception for a different room where you can feel more comfortable. Regarding the location of our hotel, the area of the Grands Boulevards, it is well known for being one of the best areas in the heart of Paris, full of theatres, museums, shops and elegant buildings, not certainly a rough area. Like in every big capitals you may find every kind of person, depending on which area you go. However our hotel is located in a safe area. We are sorry that you had such a negative impression of your stay, however we appreciate your sharing your concerns, and we hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Kind regards Alexia Front Office Manager

Hello
Yes, it took us ca 15 min
I have never had a room with a view of Sacre Couer at this hotel. You can see Sacre Couer from some of the roads nearby. Maybe rooms near the top of the building have access to these views but I have not had one of these rooms.
Yes, the hotel will store your luggage if you arrive before check in time
