The hotel was well located to trains, we could walk to most places we needed. The room was suprisingly big for a Parisian Hotel and not too expensive. We were three single ladies sharing a room - and were expecting the worst - but the bathroom was HUGE, loads of mirrors and the 2 double beds and pull out sofa...

As noted below, Le Littre is a good hotel on a quiet street. It's clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It took a few go-rounds to get our air conditioning and shower head fixed, but service was with a smile. Room is well appointed, if a bit dated. Bath is lovely and newly done. The hotel is, indeed,...

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Le Littré. I brought my mother and daughter for a visit two summers ago, and this year returned with my son as well. The room was small for three people, but we were still comfortable. We always enjoy a quiet night's sleep, the cozy bar, and the wonderful breakfasts - especially the delightful...

I stayed for two nights toward the end of my trip to France and this is really nice hotel at the price range. Room was 'small' but only compare to US standard. For Paris, it was bigger than I expected. Also, renovated bathroom was excellent. Staffs were all very much welcoming, as well. Interesting looking elevator was the only issue,...

We stayed three nights and I thought it was wonderful from start to finish. The room itself was very small but we didn't care -- minimal accommodations were fine as you're on the go in Paris from start to finish. Room also had a good-sized and modern bathroom and was clean and tidy on arrival. The hotel staff is great...

This is a cute hotel, in a good location and in a nice little neighborhood. The breakfast was very good and the staff in the breakfast room was very attentive to the customer. The reception staff was extremely helpful despite the language challenges. The room however was the smallest hotel room I've ever staying in. This made the experience less...

This is a wonderful hotel. A little more than I usually spend, but worth it. Great location. Room was comfortable, spacious, spotless. The staff was exceptional. I have absolutely no complaint. I'd happily stay here again.

We arrived in Paris on Bastille day and what a great welcome Paris and the hotel gave us. To see the magnificent fireworks display around the Eifel Tower was unforgettable. Our room is lovely with a nice balcony overlooking Sacre Couer but not the Eifel Tower ( but that was our only slight disappointment and only lasted a few minutes)....

Excellent, excellent location. See, in Paris, it's not so important to stay close to a tourist site, because they're so far away from each other. In Paris, it's super-important to be near a convenient transit hub to shuttle you to each site "tout de suite". For this, the location of the Littre can't be beat, because it's near Gare Montparnasse...

We stayed here for two nights after spending two nights in Frankfurt. We stayed at the Jumeirah in Frankfurt so there was a considerable difference in the hotels. Jumeirah was ultra modern and Le Littre was quaint, charming and very French. The superior room was very large with a full sitting area, small hall and bathroom. Room was clean but...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
