This hotel was a great find. The check in staff were great and a big thank you to Thomas for his rugby banter. The hotel is conveniently located in central Paris between the Louvre and Place Vendome/Opera which makes it great for walking around. The breakfast was good aswell - good selection in an a la carte style and the...

Just back from an overnight business trip to Paris and having stayed in the Astotel Sebastopol hotel before and been impressed, I decided to book the Malte this time around as it was a better location for our plans - also slightly cheaper. I am so glad I did! The hotel is lovely, recently renovated it's clean, modern and a...

Recently tried the new Astotel, Hotel Malte, a true gem in Paris, a great value for money. The location is central, there are plenty on offer for tourists ( Louvres or Opera at a short reach) or for party goers. I was on business trip, I did appreciate the modern twist of the room, and the 5* service from the...

Good location - very helpful and pleasant check-in staff. Small elevator leading to good sized rooms. There is A/C but not currently switched on, so rooms are very warm especially at night. You can open the windows but Paris is never quiet! Small refrigerators with modest stock of soft drinks which are FREE (Really nice touch). Free soft drinks in...

All staff on reception were very friendly and helpful in sorting out one or two problems we had (which had nothing to do with the hotel). Good reception area for relaxing with free refreshments. This facility also extended to other hotels in the group scattered across Paris. Appealing décor throughout the hotel. Neither overblown nor that plastic and formica feel!

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, they were all multi-lingual and answered all of our questions. We had arrived early and our room was not ready yet. The staff at the front desk offered us some coffee and tea along with lite snacks. Within 20 minutes our room was ready. The room was on the 5th floor overlooking...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
