My favorite hotel in my favorite location in Paris. Five stays in the last dozen years. Renovation is excellent. Rooms are comfy, cozy, and tastefully decorated. Lots of nice amenities like built in USB charging ports. Great price/value and excellent staff. When can I return?

I never leave reviews, but this hotel was the last stop in our 2 1/2 week trip in Eroupe and i felt i needed to because of how much i liked this hotel. It's not very accessible from a car and the gps takes you to the back side of the hotel. The elevator is only big enough for one person and a suit case. Other that those 2 things this hotel was a breath of fresh air. The front desk staff spoke good English, they gave great advice to find all the tourist crap we wanted to do, the rain fall shower head was great, it's about a 15 minute walk from the Eifel tower and It is surrounded by a cool market place. It's pretty close to a lot of buss stops and there are several plugs and USB ports all over the room including next to the bed so we didn't have to break out our travel adapters. All and all it's great.

This hotel has a real European flair. We stayed here twenty years ago and liked the location so much that we decided to try again. The hotel people were pleasant and helpful. The rooms are really small but clean with comfortable linens and bed. Their elevator is tiny, but it worked so we didn’t have to climb five floors. I could barely get into it with our two carryon bags though. The bathroom was small but had hot water, shampoo and body wash. No conditioner. We had breakfast one morning and it was fine - lots of choices of foods and a coffee machine that made all sorts of coffee including mocha and cappuccino. Looking back, we think it was a bit pricey per night but its street and location made it worth it.

We've been here for few days with our family. It'been good overall, the Hotel is clean and well situated, in a really picturesque street (particularly in the morning when all the shops are open) 10 minutes walk far from the Eiffel Tower. Rooms are a bit small, beds are cozy but kettel and tea bags or coffee sachets are available only in some rooms and frankly I wonder why.
Breakfast is pretty good and the lady who works mornings is very attentive and ready to make sure nothing is missing. A little overpriced like everything in the hotel area, though.
A mention to the guy who works at reception in the night, (Harry if I got his name right) he's been really helpful and kind since the very first day and he's an asset for the hotel. Well done Harry.

We have just had 3 nights here and WOW, we loved this hotel. The best location in Paris on a beautiful cobbled street full of food shops and cafes, walking distance to Eiffel Tower and other attractions. We didn’t use the metro once! As two women we felt very safe in this hotel and area. Our room was on the 3rd floor and as we had booked the cheapest room, it was small with a view into neighbouring apartments but it was very nicely decorated with a fabulous rain shower en suite and it was really clean. Most of all, it was quiet and has great air con. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room (bring your favourite coffee pods for the machine). We would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to visit Paris again.

Family of 3 (2 adults and 1 big kid) stayed 3 nights at the end of May in the Grand Hotel Leveque Rue Cler and plan to return when in Paris next! Everyone was hospitable and check in / out was easy. The room is recently renovated and looks stylish, very comfortable and super clean thanks to the hotel housekeeping staff. Love the waterfall shower and comfy bed after a long day.

The hotel was quiet at night and since Rue Cler is a pedestrian street there wasn't any thru traffic but there is a small convenience store almost right next door, an amazing Boulangerie, Aldi and other conveniences to make this hotel convenient.

Able to walk to the Eiffel Tower with ease, the Louvre and Arc de Triomphe are a little further but it's a nice walk!

Breakfast starts at 7 and a lovely assortment to get you started before your day in beautiful Paris!

Dear PatrickS2K, Thank you very much for your detailed feedback on your stay with us. We are absolutely thrilled to see that you and your family had a nice and comfortable stay. We are indeed in a nice quiet street with lots of stores. It is very lively during the day and gets quiet at night. We are also lucky to have many landmarks closeby, as you said, and reachable by foot. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again very soon at Grand Hôtel Lévêque. Best regards, Aurore - Front Desk Manager

I really struggle with this review rating that I’m giving. I booked a few rooms back in early 2019 for March 2020 travel, we all know what happened next. The management team deserves 10 stars for the kindness and ease of using the credit from the rooms I booked, finally 2 yrs later after booking and cancelling a few times because US citizens were still not allowed in.

The location, front desk staff, cleaning staff, breakfast and hotel renovations were all great. Here is where I struggle. In 2019 when I booked I made it very clear I wanted the room for 3 people with the Eiffel Tower view, even sent a picture of which view. Confirmed many times. When I rebooked mentioned each time that I wanted that same view room and was assured, that was what I was getting. When we showed up we were given the room next door to the view I wanted, which was also a smaller room(I had no problem with that)but the Eiffel Tower view from this room was pretty much non existent compared to the one in the picture. It was so disappointing after thinking about that view for 3 yrs. Front desk wasn’t able to change rooms because it was booked for a family already. I tried to make the best of it, then notice the table on our balcony only had one chair, so I requested to get a second chair so the Mr and I can sit on the balcony I paid extra for. They never brought one. Why would you have a table with just one chair??Lastly, the shower door did not close all the way and would get water all over the bathroom floor. Not a huge deal but just added to the disappointment.

Overall I would recommend this hotel as long as you are not expecting any kind of Eiffel Tower view. They only have the one room that sleeps 3 that has what I would call an Eiffel Tower view. The other 2 rooms barely show a very small amount of the tower. The view of rue cler below is great and with the window closed we didn’t hear any truck traffic in the morning as others have said.

Dear 9553, Thank you very much for your detailed review. We are glad that we could finally welcome you after 2 years of diffcult times due to Covid restrictions. I am really sorry to read that you were not able to get what you booked. This isn't the service that we usually deliver and we apologize for this. I will make sure to make a feedback to our entire team in order to not let this happen again. However, the views of 502 and 501 are also nice, even though the eiffel tower is not as visible as in the room 503. We hope that we will have the opportunity to welcome you again and that this time we will make your stay perfect! Best regards, Aurore - Front Desk Manager

We stayed at Grand Hotel Leveque with a group of 9, including four kids. The connecting family rooms were perfect - gave the adults privacy while still being close to the kids. Front desk staff was great, and housekeeping did a very nice job too. And you're a short (less than 10 minute) walk from the Eiffel tower. And the location on Rue Cler is magical.

Stayed for a long weekend in Dec’21. Room was nice, recently remodeled, comfy bed, modern bathroom and shower, all very clean. Double room was OK size for 2 people. Small elevator. Friendly and helpful English speaking reception. We loved the location, right on quaint atmospheric Rue Cler market, with many good cafes/restaurants/bakery at the door step and a few mins walk from Champs de Mars & Eiffel Tower.
We’ve stayed in various neighborhoods in Paris before and this is our favorite (7eme).

From the moment of my arrival the staff greeted me warmly and were enthusiastic about making sure of my comfort. I arrived well before check-in so I was able to safely store my luggage in a locked area at the front desk. This allowed me to start exploring the city without being inhibited. My reservation included a nice buffet breakfast that was a great way to start each day. The hotel is located on a very nice street with many cafes and shops. I felt very safe and the area is conveniently located within walking distance to Metro, Eiffel Tower and other major points of interest. It was a wonderful stay.
