Stayed in a large room for 4 nights in August, lovely modern room, good air conditioning, room overlooked the Grands Boulevard. Room cleaned daily and towels changed. Safe in wardrobe, easy and free to use. Breakfast was a good selection in a lovely bright restaurant. Wifi in room was great. All staff were friendly and helpful. Cases could be left...

I stayed here for one night on a business trip, and while I was glad my company was footing the bill (translation: this hotel isn't cheap!), it worked very well for my needs. This Holiday Inn is located on Boulevard Poissonnière, literally right in front of the Grands Boulevards metro stop on lines 8 and 9. It's also about a...

Stayed at this hotel for a week in a single type room due to business trip. Very cozy, and I don't mean that in a negative way. Reminded me somewhat of a cabin on a cruiseship, small but efficient use of space. My room was on the top floor (9th) and had great views of the Boulevard, light and airy...

My first impression of the hotel wasn't good. There was construction going on outside the front doors. Once we got passed that, we walked into a bright friendly lobby. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. The hotel room was clean but a little small. I was very disappointed with our view. Our view consisted of cement walls. I...

Small, very expensive but very nice rooms. At 650 Euros for 2 nights, no bargain here, but that is like all hotels in Paris, no bargains. The rooms that are NOT facing the main street, are not noisy, so when it is time to go to bed, you will not have any nose. Breakfast is very good, but not cheap....

This hotel had a nice welcome from reception staff, who were also very helpful with tourist information. There is a metro stop right out the front. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
