I would have given a 3.5 if I could because this time around, things did not go smoothly. We stayed here in March and loved it so much that we came back to stay here again. Although the location is the same and the room is just as lovely, there are a number of problems that popped up that we didn’t expect from a luxury hotel that charges over €1500 per night:
1.The steam in the shower did not work. It was fixed the same day after we told them.
2. The bidet did not work. After 2 days, and a second inquiry from us, they told us that they couldn’t fix it and left us a bottle of Champagne in the room.
3. On the third day, housekeeping did not put out any hand towels.
4. The breakfast is at best average. In fact, we had better breakfast at other hotels and restaurants in Paris. My husband complained that they did not know how to make French styled omelette. I wrote in my last review that their gluten free breakfast pastry was very poor and they replied that they will try to do better next time. It is certainly not better this time around. I gave up asking for gluten free pastry at breakfast and they probably gave up trying to serve them to me because I did not see any after the first or second day. I brought pastries from other cafes and bakeries to breakfast.
I would not pay to have breakfast at their restaurant. You could get much better breakfast just about anywhere else in the city at much more reasonable prices.
They do try to rectify and fix what they can after any complaints. The staff is superb. Everyone we have encountered has never been anything other than professional, courteous and helpful.
I would suggest that at such an exclusive establishment, as part of their room readiness to receive new clients, someone should go through and make sure every appliance in the room works. The client is paying for a fully functioning room where all the amenities work.

A complete class act from start to finish. The room was so gorgeously designed. Whoever has planned and stocked the bathrooms is a genius ( luxury hotels should use it as the gold standard). Every person we interacted with was warm and helpful. There were new treats, like a solid chocolate huge Eiffel Tower, foods, wine, balloons, bubble baths, a tent for our daughter and the most magical treasure hunt in our room. New things each day. Amazing. I can’t stress how much that in an era of less service for more money - this hotel is the exact opposite. Almost unbelievably generous.
The only mild suggestion is that they make the outdoor space available in the off season for guests.

We've stayed in swank hotels before but this sparkling place takes the prize for fun gadgets and lofty linens. A deluxe room on the fifth floor was spacious and well appointed. Natural light bathes the room, but if ya feel like repeatedly opening and closing the curtains remotely from your bed, feel free to revert to your grade school self. You can pretty much remotely control anything in your room from the bazillion thread count sheeted bed. We were told upon check-in that a butler is available to help unpack, but we were only there for the night, so it seemed a bit gauche to request. The walk-in closet is bigger than our flat, the bath is big enough for a party, and the bed seems to have it's own zip code. Textures throughout the hotel are sumptuous, branded toiletries and thoughtful gifts are packed for you in beautiful little boxes, and you can't help but feel cosseted and special here. Staff is super welcoming, and as a guest of the hotel, a table or seat at the bar seemingly awaits, even if the spaces are otherwise packed with people. Drinks and snacks on the 7th floor veranda affords great views of the bridge and river. Cocktails and a meal at the bar in the evening is highly recommended; the space is super sexy, the cocktails exquisitely handcrafted, and the Eiffel tower light show alone is worth the price of admission. We checked out their gym, which is well equipped, and the pool was popular for laps. I would agree with an earlier post regarding noise from the street; the windows in the room don't seem to completely close - a restriction of retrofitting the building? - but I was so happy otherwise, it seems needling to complain about a little noise. Sell your stock portfolio and go.

This review is of the desk and door staff. After a day shopping at Samaritaine, our clerk suggested we indulge in drinks at the rooftop restaurant at Cheval Blanc that evening for the views. We called to confirm that the bar was open to non-hotel guests, and to inquire about reservations. We were told no reservations could be made for the bar, it was open, and first-come-first served until 1AM. We arrived after dinner elsewhere at 11:30. First, the concierge stumbled through telling us the bar was reservation only and fully booked -- contrary to the call we made earlier that day. Then the doorman, previously outside, went out of his way to come inside (the concierge was on the phone at this point checking whether there was space at the bar, having been pressed about their reservation policy) and tell us that it was "about to close anyway, at 12," which we noted was strange since their listed hours hours and the call we made earlier said 1AM. When the concierge confirmed there was space for our group of six, a further elevator operator stopped us to walk toward the desk and confirm we had been allowed up. We were appropriately, smartly dressed, and had at least one french speaker with us. I would note here that perhaps being a group of Black people was less than appealing to the Cheval Blanc staff.
Restaurant (Langosteria) staff was delightful, and the bar was half empty so they were happy to seat the six of us; despite our rough treatment downstairs it was nice to toast the 40th birthday of our friend with the twinkle of the Tour Eiffel in the background at midnight. Hotel does seem gorgeous -- views were outstanding.

To date, we have been to 80 countries in the world (76 if abiding by the UN list). I am convinced that the Cheval Blanc Paris stands as one of the top city hotels in the world for its exceptional attention to detail and personalized service. We have been to most if not all of the Grande Dame hotels of Paris including the Ritz, Plaza Athénée, George V, Le Bristol, Le Meurice but the hotel we continue to return to is Cheval Blanc. Ever since we arrived when they first opened in September 2021, every aspect of our stay has been meticulously curated.
The hotel’s design, a blend of classic Parisian elegance and modern chic, creates an unforgettable atmosphere. Guests enjoy personalized experiences like surprise gifts (my son LOVED his Peppa Pig gifts and tent set up), tailored room amenities, and exclusive privacy, ensuring a stay that feels both intimate and grand.
Their pool, needless to say, is the best in the city with a Spa and excellent treatments to match (thank you Lina for the exquisite massage).
Cheval Blanc Paris redefines luxury hospitality with its commitment to creating memorable, bespoke moments for each guest and we thank you for that. A special thank you to Carrie at reception for taking such good care of us every single time. This hotel never ceases to amaze me. I have visited some of the best in the world, but no one competes with the personal touch and service of Cheval Blanc. The rooms are beautiful, modern and offer all amenities (from a wonderful bed with different pillow options to a steambath, a Dyson dryer, smart TV, nespresso machine and a safe with 3 watch winders!). The staff here know the guest. They know your needs and treat you like you're very valued. Every day, there's a little touch added to the room to remind you that the experience is tailor-made. We had a champagne, cake, and canapés waiting for us, a warm tea pot waiting for us every night. The day we attended a wedding at night there were 4 bottles of water for each and a note saying they hoped we enjoyed the wedding and there's water for us to hydrate + personalized sleep masks with our initials stitched. Another day, we received a fluffy keyring and a leather passport holder, and the day before we departed, we got leather embossed luggage tags. There's a complimentary hotel car to drive you around the city (within a reasonable distance), and the concierge team is a dream team with "I can arrange all (really)" attitude (thank you Christophe + team). Eva at reception remembered us, and our preferences and the staff at breakfast remembered what particularities we had about our coffee and food choices. Overall, the service and personal touch are unbeatable, and, as a repeat guest, I can say they keep improving. Excellent job Cheval Blanc team & management!

We did a quick baby moon trip to Paris and this hotel was great! I really loved the modern Parisian flair compared to other hotels such as Ritz and the Plaza. One thing that was worth the extra money was doing roundtrip transportation to and from the airport. Once we got off the plane we had an assistant waiting for us that took us through an expedited security lane for customs and then we were chauffeured in a nice Mercedes with a great driver. The concierge was able to get us last minute dinner reservations for our stay including Loulou. The bathroom was like a spa itself....amazing toiletries including Dior products....steam shower and my favorite a soaking tub. Turndown service was always excellent. We were able to use the house car which is a BMW 7 series multiple times without hardly any wait which was great as well. I really cannot think of anything bad about our stay there...make sure to check out the indoor pool as well!

Actually went 3/22 but just realized never reviewed. Solid staff, in all areas, housekeeping was meticulous, they even restored my daughters beat up boots to a state which we thought would be impossible. Clean, large room, ours was on the corner and we did have a view of the river. Every night they left a small sample of a Dior product from their spa. Lovely touch.
They have cars that will take you where you need (including a complimentary pick up and drop off at the airport), as long as they are available, we only had to wait 10 minutes once, otherwise no issues, and all drivers extremely professional. Pool was a nice respite after full days of touring around. Breakfast which was included was great. We only had a chance to actually enjoy it once during our stay, but other mornings the staff provided little to go bags with pastries for the teens.
Bar upstairs was great and so were the bartenders. Restaurant was not very impressive, not bad but I wish there was another option at the hotel for more varied options in the evening.
All in all a great stay.

Just completed three wonderful nights at this extraordinary hotel, which is probably the finest hotel experience we’ve ever had.
From the moment you arrive at this hotel (in the chauffeur driven BMW that they pick you up at the airport after meeting you at the gate) , they pamper you with every amenity imaginable. Our room (with a view of the Seine) was off the charts. The extras and amenities they put in the room make you feel as though you are in your own home. The products in the massive bathroom are beyond anything we’ve ever been furnished.
The bar at Longosteria on the 7th floor may be the best bar we ever experienced. The staff, ambience, music, view of the Eiffel Tower, and service cannot be exceeded. Angelo, the head bartender is a creative genius and an extraordinary person. We’d go back just for the bar if we could.
The breakfast (included) is as good as any anywhere in the world.
Reception, concierge and spa personnel are all top notch.
The special touches left for us at bed time left a lasting impression.
I could go on for pages. This hotel is perfect and we cannot wait to return. I truly don’t think that there is a finer hotel anywhere in the world. Bravo.

Cheval Blanc is the quintessential 5 Star Experience, from the location, the hotel, the restaurants, and most importantly the staff. From the minute we arrived we received the upmost professional and warm reception, and were also greeted by the General Manager, Christophe Haidy. Cheval Blanc is the only hotel in Paris directly on the Seine River and views to the left of Notre Dame and to the right of the Eiffel Tower. We stayed in a Seine Junior Suite and it was amazing. The use of the space, the enclosed glass patio overlooking the Seine, the bathroom and toiletries were top of the line. The Concierge Staff is superb and assisted us with many requests including dining arrangements. On this trip we didn’t have the chance to enjoy Plenitude but we will the next time we come to Paris. Langosteria has beautiful indoor seating and outdoor seating with beautiful views and the food was fantastic. Le Tout-Paris is like it says “so Parisian” and has a broad menu offering that certainly met all expectations, and it also has a beautiful view. Not to be missed is a plunge in their magnificent pool which we understand to be the largest indoor pool in Europe. The mirrored ceiling and the evolving graphics on the walls truly elevate your experience. In closing, every staff member we came in contact with was truly best of class. We can’t wait to return to Cheval Blanc.

Each room’s shower has a personal hammam (steam bath). There is also a large hammam in the fitness area together with a spectacular indoor pool.
I don’t know if there is a hot tub there.
The hotel has a Dior spa for facials, massages, etc.
