We had a wonderful stay at the Regina. The staff was very supportive, professional and supportive.

1. Our check in process did not include the housekeeping green/red button process resulting in some confusion on our part
2. Front desk staff apparently does not have enough Euros in the cash box to break down $200 Euros, (1) member offering me only (2) 50's
3. Breakfast buffet somewhat disappointing compared with our trip last year to Rome and Florence; One day the chef sent out my green pepper/ham omelet under-cooked and it took forever to get one back (my wife had completed her breakfast)
Staffed well, but more focus on clearing dishes important for the buffet process
Our last morning yesterday, we walked down toward the USA embassy and visited the 2nd cafe down from the hotel and had our best breakfast of the week with a wonderful fruit platter, avocado toast with poached egg & greens and the same omelet prepared properly
4. If we were to return to the Regina we would not sign up for the breakfast buffet
5. Room Service was exceptional at all times, your chicken club is a 10, the staff professional and timely
6. We had drinks in the bar one evening and it was enjoyable with a wonderful ambiance and professional staff
6A. Concierge staff is excellent, responsive and very helpful
7. Front door staff was on top of things, professional and we felt safe at all times
8. After running a large company for over (35) years I can tell that your operations and staff are well trained with a focus on meeting the needs of your guests.

I hope my comments are helpful as you continue to focus on improvement and accountability

Respectfully,
Larry & Jean Schillings

My husband and I spent 7 lovely nights in an Eiffel Tower Suite. The rooms (bedroom, seating area with desk, bathroom and entry) were large and luxurious and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel surprised us with champagne on our first evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet and cooked breakfast selection each morning. The breakfast area was very nice with plenty of friendly wait staff and ample seating choices. The variety of food in the buffet was excellent and the bread and pastries were outstanding. We did experience some minor delays in receiving our cooked breakfast choices. We had a few housekeeping glitches during our stay, but management very graciously and very generously resolved all our issues. All the staff worked to ensure we enjoyed our time at the hotel, and we absolutely would return to the Hotel Regina Louvre. It is a beautiful five-star hotel, centrally located and suited us perfectly. I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful hotel.

I have nothing negative to say about this hotel…
Rooms: rooms were clean, large, and the beds were comfortable. Our particular room had a view of the Eiffel Tower which was so amazing to watch sparkle each evening before bed. There was always water available…the housekeeping was impeccable. One amenity I really liked and rarely find elsewhere in Europe was US plugs in the room. Very convenient! The room was very quiet as well and looked updated. Plenty of closet and drawer space too. I really can’t complain about anything in terms of the room.
Breakfast…many options at the buffet. But you also can order eggs and pancakes which are included if you have the prepaid breakfast option.
Staff…exceptional! Probably the best service I’ve ever had in a hotel. Every single employee was friendly, professional, and very helpful. As an aside, this was our first visit to Paris and we were a little nervous. Knowing the staff was there 24/7 and were willing and able to help with any requests, questions, or issues, seriously made everything a little less overwhelming.
This is definitely a 5 star hotel at its finest. The location is perfect. I highly recommend and will absolutely stay here again.

Pros: closet with lots of storage, bathroom big with room for all your things, no bottega toiletries- nuxe which is ok, good location 15 minutes of major attractions so not much use of metro, good water pressure and draining system (shower doesn’t clogged), big fast elevators, housekeeping fast and responsive. US plug for appliances inside bathroom and next to bed

Cons: unstable internet, limited channels, can not connect your device to Netflix, do not offer any movie channels, not smart tv (we like to watch tv after a long day of sightseeing so no option), no way to hook your phone to tv. Old fashion tv, beds and pillows confortables but bed frame squeaks a lot and you can’t move or it will wake you up, paper thing walls you hear everyone’s business, concierge is not knowledgeable of activities around or friendly about booking taxis. We asked of Xmas market started Saturday November 16 in Tuileries (park right in front) and the said no. Google search confirm November 16. Keep in mind hotel was remodel 10 plus years ago right now it doesn’t look like it. Breakfast was ok but not much of variety and not worth the price. There was a filming in the hotel and lobby was not available so elevator area was crowded. Housekeeping had to be reminded about original requests everyday. No iron in rooms need to be requested every time you need it and can’t stay with it.

This hotel is expensive for what it has to offer. It’s not luxurious. We have stayed at Hilton Opera and it’s much better and location not bad. I actually will give Hilton Opera 5 stars and this hotel 3 or 4. Prices were better in the Hilton but we decided to give this hotel a try.

Brighton Hotel (3 stars) few doors seems decent and Westin Vendome (5 stars) around the corner a much better choice.

This is our 9th time in Paris so we know our way around here. We dont go by stars system but what the hotel has to offer. Prices don’t justify the overall stay.

Hôtel Regina truly exceeded our expectations! The hospitality and kindness we were shown was so memorable and truly made our Honeymoon so special.

The beautiful hotel is renovated with modern plumbing and amenities, but it still displays the original historic architecture and features. It is a 5 minute walk from the Louvre and only a 20-40 minute walk to Champs-Élysées and the Eiffel Tower.
Montmartre is about a 20 minute drive from the hotel, walking would be around 50 minutes. Overall, the location is prime for all the sights, and there were multiple Metro stations located a 5 or less minute walk from the hotel.

We booked a Superior Suite with a view of the Louvre. The view faced us directly in front of the Louvre with a scenic view of the Eiffel Tower. Additionally, our room was incredibly spacious and our bathroom was well equipped. There was plenty of space for our luggage and toiletries. The closet was spacious with hangers and shelves for our items.

Additionally, the hospitality of the staff was truly spectacular. Everyone made us feel welcome throughout our entire stay. We noted on our reservation that it was our Honeymoon and the hotel decorated our room with rose petals and made us feel so special. The hotel went even further and gifted us with a bottle of champagne on our first night. The following night, they gifted us a bottle of red wine and some delicious macarons. And the following night, the gifted us another bottle of red wine. This service was continued through our weekend, but not the weekdays that we stayed.

Hôtel Regina truly made our Honeymoon so memorable and perfect. We are so appreciative of the staff and we will definitely return the next time we are in Paris!

Beautiful hotel. Very well appointed. We stayed in Junior Eiffel Tower Suite, a large room with large bathroom (including deep bath with shower over, plus double basin) and of course views of Jardin des Tuilleries and over to the Eiffel Tower. Service generally is impeccable, with some missteps, including housekeeping leaving dirty cleaning cloths in the room, one of the staff (who I'm guessing was a junior food manager) forgetting our orders, twice even after he specifically asked if we would like something to eat.

Like a lot of hotels, I suspect Regina is trying to recoup lost revenue following Covid, as there were some very noticable cost cutting which wouldn't be expected at a top end hotel, including one small soap in the bathroom (yes there is shower gel on the wall in a reusable bottle), two bottles of water provided (on day one only, no replenishment), a number of the English TV channels had not been subscribed to so really only the basis news channels, only two sachets of instant coffee (and two small milk serves) per day with a note saying if further coffee is required, it can be provided at the menu rate (which would be €7 each plus service fee). To put that into perspective, we are paying (yes, we are still here) €1000 a night for the room.

Quite a few of the staff are obviously fairly new (one has been in Paris three months, another told us they'd been here 'a short while') which may explain some of the staff missteps, but not the cost cutting.

The location is very good, with walking distance to most key points in the city.

Would we stay here again? Perhaps but would be hesitant given the cost cutting to improve profits.

We stayed at the Regina for our Honeymoon. The location was perfect for us to walk to the main attractions we wanted to explore, or catch a taxi without fail. We had a beautiful room with wonderful housekeeping, turn down service nightly. Everyone is extremely professional and welcoming. We enjoyed dinner one night at the Hotel restaurant, ate breakfast there daily. It was lovely, we look forward to our return.

This was the 8th stay at this hotel - it was even more exceptional than ever. It is in an excellent location, within walking distance to almost all attractions, and with close access to various bus stops and metro stations. Our room was an Eiffel Tower Junior Suite with a magnificent view of the Tuileries and the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, Musee d'Orsay, Arc de Triomphe, Rue de Rivoli, Place des Pyramides...it can't get better than this. The service is absolutely excellent, the staff are all so polite and obliging. Breakfast is really good, especially the eggs made to order. Breakfast staff are extremely efficient, they take so much care of patrons. The rooms are impeccable, kept clean and fresh, lovely toiletries, bed linen and towels, always complimentary water available. It feels great to return to the hotel after a tiring albeit enjoyable day out, and finding a neat room, curtains tied back, crisp bed linen, fresh towels, supreme cleanliness. It feels also welcoming and comforting to return after a late dinner and find the room refreshed for the night, used towels replaced, bed made up neatly, curtains drawn for privacy. The household staff, both morning and evening, are definitely commendable.
The front desk staff and doormen are fantastic! Simply cannot be nicer or more efficient.
One last thing, we're already booked for our usual Easter break at Regina, our 9th stay - I think that makes our satisfaction with this hotel absolutely clear!

We had an issue at our previous hotel and needed to vacate quickly. Sarah at Hotel Regina was so helpful in fixing our issue and finding us an amazing opportunity at Hotel Regina. There must have been a cancellation because their website said the room we were interested in was booked. I've traveled to a lot of 5-star hotels, but this place has been the best. EVERY person there addressed you quickly, friendly, and was only interested in helping you. We never experienced one grumpy employee evenincluding the cleaning service employees. Nedless to say they rescued our our trip to France. Even when we were checking out and at that moment the airline called and cancelled our flight, the hotel found us another room just as comparable to the one we had been in for many days. The views of the Eiffel Tower from our terrace were incredible! We saw same of the other 5-star hotels in Paris, Hotel Regina is the best. Their location is second to none! Can't wait to visit them again!

First time staying at Regina and it was so lovely! The decor is historical Parisian charm but still feels updated. The concierge provided us with two last minute dinner reservations that were spot on for our needs. The doormen are professional and helpful. Our rate came with the breakfast buffet which we really didn’t utilize but enjoyed having that as an option. Our junior suite room was large by Paris standards and lovely. I like the Nuxe bath products (would’ve been a bonus to have the dry oil). The location is great for fanning out over the city to reach various points of interest. There are so many hotel options in Paris and I only wish I would’ve discovered the hotel sooner!

we stayed here in 2016 and then twice in 2018. in 2018, we had an interior courtyard view suite the first stay which had two bathrooms. the second stay was the near the corner overlooking the louvre with the tower in the background. our thought was that things and been upgraded in the time between our stays. this included a courtyard bistro which was lovely and just off the main bar. enjoy!
