I stayed here before they closed and did not find it wanting renovation except for the staff. The location was just perfect and I got around the city marvelously. However, the staff here (as noted in some other reviews) was pretty snooty. Concierge was least helpful I have ever encountered and made us feel completely unwelcome. Although we are American,... We had a lovely stay in a very romantic suite at crillon le brave. The check in was easy and fast, our room was amazing. The food is excellent at both restaurants. Breakfast is nice as well. The pool and views are beautiful.

Visited Hotel de Crillon in Dec. 2009. It was over Holiday season for Christmas. The hotel is nice, food was delicious. Beautiful bar. Some of the staff were a little snooty. The location was amazing. As aoon as we stepped out we had everything there. Paris is beautiful with all the lights and Holiday decorations. The street vendors are pretty... More

We stayed at Hotel de Crillon in August 2013 with our two children on recommendation from a friend and were not disappointed. Its pure luxury was easily evident from the moment you walked in from the attentive bell boys and concierge to the impeccable service in the restaurant. They even had special welcome gifts for the kids which is rare... More

I stayed at Hotel deals Crillon for a business trip with American colleagues. From the moment I arrived, I was transported into the 'other' world.... the world of class, opulence and eutopia. Staff were ultra professional and tended to all needs of our group with a comfortable kindness. I am waiting for announcement of the reopening date with bated breath.... More

Would love to go back to see this when they are finished renovating. Historically significant (where the Treaty of Paris was signed) and beautiful - not sure we could afford to stay there but at least we could visit!

The place closed for renovation in September 2013, with an announced re-opening of 2015. As of April 17, 2016.......still closed. There is facade covering the front with painted windows, patios, curtains and columns. At night these fake rooms even light up. But there is no signage as to when it's reopening and there was no discernible construction activity.

//the actual property in which the hotel is located is a historic building with a lot of Parisian character. The Ambassador restaurant had two Michelin starts the year I stayed in this hotel.
