Have stayed in St Germain for years, usually round corner in Rue des Saintes Peres. However this was even better and quite immaculate and very comfortable. The location is amazing, directly opposite les Deux Magots & Cafe de Flore. And the Metro is across the street. I worry about writing this review as no doubt next time I won't be...

Intimate, meticulously clean, hotelnrun by delightful locals. Rooms that could accommodate our family of three. Loved the bathrooms and the beds, linens, and all the amenities. The Breakfasts was awesome with the best coffee. Really a grate experience and value. This isn't over the top luxe but a well priced value!

After marrying in Scotland we continued our honeymoon in Paris. We were very pleased with this hotel. My father is a Best Western Gold Crown Club Elite Member and we used his points for our entire 4 night stay. Check in was easy and our room was as requested. It is located right near some very famous cafes and is...

We stayed here from Dec. 7 to Dec. 11th and enjoyed every minute of it. The location is terrific and convenient to everything....metro right down the street and a ton of places to eat in the area and shopping all around. Our room was directly on Blvd. Saint Germain and looked right across at Deux Magots and Cafe Flore. We...

The rooms are beautifully decorated. Breakfast was excellent. The location was within walking distance to D'orsay. The staff was very helpful in giving us information on different attractions including the very romantic dinner cruise on the Seine. When we checked out, we paid for the bill on our credit card and surprisingly were able to pay in US dollars thus...

My husband and I spent two weeks at Au Manoir in November - we are well traveled and know what to look for. This hotel is perfectly located in the Left Bank area of Paris, and is in walking distance of the main places you'd want to visit. Metro just outside for when you want to go further afield. After...

For two weeks, late October and early November, this charming property was to my husband and me. Being a former travel professional, I know what to look for, what is important and not important, and so forth. Au Manoir surpassed even my picky expectations! Our room overlooking the Boulevard was not only beautifully decorated, it was thoughtfully designed for our...

Great location in St. Germain des Pres. Nice hotel, very nice staff, clean, reasonably priced, for Paris. Very near Metro, Les Deux Magots, the Church, zillions of restaurants, and Ralph Lauren's Paris store and others for the big spenders/fashion nuts. The hotel is not ostentatious, but very nice and convenient in a fun area with a helpful staff. recommended!

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
