Very relieved to be in this hotel after experiencing some crappy dirty hotels in London and Edinburgh. It's super clean , tidy and the rooms are big. The buffet breakfast is great - croissants and brioche bread and meats and great coffee. The area surrounding it is nice. I'd recommend this place any day.

We were there at the beginning of April. Service was excellent, very quiet modern decorated room with mini-bar and kettle. Good breakfast. Ten minutes walk to the centre. I can recommend this hotel to everybody.

We usually read about how cramped and expensive Paris hotels are, but for our recent honeymoon, we had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, which is situated at a strategic location in Paris, along the Pink (4) Metro Line, a few stations away from Galleries Lafayette (to the wifey's delight), the Louvre Museum, so on and so so forth....

It's clean, friendly and well placed for the Lafayette shopping district, but fairly basic. The hotel has been squeezed into an old building. The rooms are on the small side and pretty basic, although it was flat screen TV with some international TV. The main thing for me was the very poor sound proofing between rooms. I could here conversations...

The hotel is in a good location close to the Opera and the Galleria Layfatte. The staff were very helpful. The rooms are small but very comfortable. Several cafes and restaurants in the area. A reasonably priced accommodation in a central location.

This hotel, which is a hard to find Best Western, turned out to be perfect in all categories. It often does not show up on searches for Best Westerns in Paris. it is on a side street right near the Square de Montholon. It is just outside of the tourist areas and all cafes etc are authentic and reasonably priced....

I booked this Hotel online after reading some reviews. I had high expectations especially because it wasn't cheap. Right from the check in desk, the staff were not friendly. The rooms were small and basic. The most appaling was the breakfast. Cold croissant, everything was poorly arranged. It definitely wasn't the best way to spend €170. The bathroom was however...

My travel agent recommended this hotel for location and price, so I went by her word. The hotel is in a great location, right near the Metro station which made it easy to maneuver our way through Paris. There are bistros, restaurants, and stores within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms are typically European, not large like in America,...

This is a nice clean hotel near Paris Gare du Nord Station. We arrived/left Paris by Euro Star so location of this hotel is convenient when we go to the rail station. There are also two subway stops close to this hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and small supermarkets in that area. The room is clean. First night we...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
