Highly recommended-only a short stroll (less than 10 minutes) from the Louvre. Only a block away from the Garnier Opera house, and mere feet from a metro station. This comfortable hotel is in the best location possible for gettng to all the major sightseeing attractions in this spectacular city. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from Place d'Opera, where one can get the Roissybus to the airport (CDG) for under 10 euros as well as the metro. A taxi ride into the city is approximately 50 euros. The hotel is also within walking distance of galeries lafayette, place de concorde, the louvre and many other attractions. Staff... More

This hotel location was great, Near train and bus stops, near shuttle to and from airport, down the street from the Opéra Garnier , in walking distance from the Louvre Museum. Great Location, My husband and I used Paris Transit system to the max, riding the bus and train all over Paris. The hotel staff was great, every question we... More

We stayed here early September 09 and were so impressed by the service we received. On the reception desk you will find a woman called 'Aurore' who is very knowledgeable about the surrounds and speaks perfect english. She can recommend where to eat, what to do, and can help with anything. She even helped us arrange the next leg of... More

Location is fantastic, just beside the Opera in a very quiet street. Metro is close. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. We were very happy indeed and would gladly recommend this hotel.

Don't accept a rear room as our room looked into a small light shaft which turned day into night. There was virtually no daylight - thus the low score. Ensure that you get a front room and all will be well. The hotel was very good, comfortable bed, clean, friendly and good breakfast.

I booked this hotel on some random hotel website, last minute the day of my arrival in Paris. They gave us room 300, supposedly 100s are the best rooms on the floors. Anyway, it was tres magnifique. Very clean, very stylish and in the middle of everything! The bed was much more comfortable than anything I ever laid on!!! The... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Location was great - we got the Roissybus from Charles de Gaulle Airport and it takes you directly to Rue Scribe, beside Opera, a couple of hundred yards from the Hotel. Staff very welcoming and informative and had good English and willing to use it. Room and ensuite very clean and comfortable. Heating and cooling... More

Close to Opera in a friendly area with restaurants, cafes and shops. In a quiet small rue. Global best western style with small hall, small rooms, narrow, dark passages to rooms, creaking floors. Breakfast is simple but OK. For a short business trip it is good but not for couples, romance, charme or authenticity.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
