Excellent hotel at a great location within walking distance to many restaurants, cafe's and bars, metro and park. Hotel is well managed and clean. Breakfast is somewhat expensive. Will stay here again at next visit to Paris.

The hotel has everything you need next door. The place is particularly calm at night, which was quite a surprise. A shame the doors slam so hard and noisily. Hope they'll do something about it. Rooms are clean, and service is professional. I tried the restaurant L'arbre à cannelle across the street and had a good time with great food....

We stayed two nights in this hotel and it was absolutely our first and last stay in a Timhotel. The worst was the bathroom, which was not only very small for two persons but also soiled and damaged. As for the service at the reception there were those who were interested for your concerns and others who assumed indifference.

Generally worn appearance and fittings. Larger rooms at front on busy road with early construction noise; rooms at back quieter but small and gloomy. Breakfast OK. Fine for a night but not a holiday hotel.

Was not what I expected and was hoping to have in a city like Paris. Very tiny corridors, tiny lift that fits one person only at a time, poor and rude management, don't stay there if you like a bit of space.

Pro: Good location, very clean, bed is really confy, if you do not want to take the hotels breakfast - however it is said to be good - there are cheaper alternatives nearby Contra: On working days noise is really extreme starting from 7.30-8.00 am, room is not soundproof and construction is going on next door (march 2016)

A pleasant stay. Staff were helpful and pleasant, no waiting for the room on arrival. Breakfast was sufficient. Room 17 had a problem with the door sticking but got the hang of it. Good location, near to metro, main line station and river bus.

I never seen so small hotel rooms, small elevator, small coridors. Problem to fit to the lift with the luggage. And get in to the hotel. Smallest bedroom ever. Room very clean but the size... It is hard to exist in something like this. Especially with the child. I would not recommend. Even staff very friendly. Im not fusy but...

Thank you for taking a time to review our hotel. Rooms have the parisian standard size as well as the lift. We are sorry if you did not like it. Children are welcomed and breakfast is even free for them. However we are happy that you appreciated our staff always ready to help. If you wish to come back we...

Excellent location for botanic gardens (hence the name) and very good for Latin Quarter. Easy metro access and plenty of eateries on the doorstep. Breakfast unremarkable so you might do better finding local café. Room on the small side but thoughtfully laid out so no worries. Clean sheets, hot water, warm welcome.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
