If this place was not walking distance from the Eiffel Tower, it would only get 1 star. Lobby and bar are the only parts of the hotel that are nice. The paint in our room was coming off. There was holes in the wall from where the TV probably fell from. Carpets were really dirty. They DO NOT allow any...

I stayed at this place for 3 nights during a family trip to Paris last month. We are a family of 4 and requested for 2 rooms adjacent to each other. So, we got rooms on the ground floor opposite each other. At first, we did not really like to stay on the ground floor and insisted on staying in...

Myself and a friend stayed here for a few nights during Euro 2016. Even though the major football championships were on we found a good deal fairly easily, which I thought was quite strange. However in the end I would probably describe our stay here as adequate. As other reviews have mentioned, our check-in took a lot longer than it...

Got as part of a holiday package. Hotel is clean and tidy, staff are helpful. Don't expect any additional facilities like a gym or free pick up from airport or free wi-fi. Location is brilliant, close to bus stops and Metro, shops that open till late. Under 10 minute bus ride to Eiffel. Everything that can be expected of a...

This is the third time I've stayed at the Derby, and it was good to see that the rooms have been renovated since my last stay in 2003. The rooms are comfortable and most offer views of the Eiffel tower. If you are looking for luxurious accommodations with the latest amenities, then this hotel is probably not the best place...

Wow! We were pleasantly surprised. We had read positive comments but this is a wonderful place woith people who go way beyond the call of duty. Yann who was at the front desk almost continmually was so friendly and helpful. He was very positive and wanted to ensure not only our stay at his hotel was perfect but he also...

THe Derby Eiffel has a few thing going for it - a very good location a short wk from the Eiffel Tower and close to a Metro station, good restaurants close by and a good staff. However, the room was tiny and not very comfortable. The elevator was even smaller, so small that two adults barely fit. Luggage made it...

The room was very tiny but the location was great but I guess that's the norm for Paris. Especially if you can't afford a 5 star hotel Walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars & shops....not far from Eiffel Tower

This review reflects a visit in July ('14) in which I surprised my partner to a long weekend in Paris for a birthday / Bastille day treat. The Derby Eiffel was a delightful hotel. Situated in the heart of Paris it was ideal in terms of locality. Easy to spot too if you get slightly list (as we did) and...
