We stayed for four nights with a 9 month old baby and found it perfect for our needs. Close to everything in a vibrant area of Paris, yet quiet enough to not hear a thing at night. The small size of the hotel meant that the staff were very attentive, welcoming and helpful, particularly with the mountain of questions we...

I stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Saint Christophe on vacation. It was my first visit to Pairs and I was very impressed by this hotel. For the price, it can not be beat. It is an outstanding location, in the heart of the Latin Quarter - about a 10 - 15 minute walk to Notre Dame. Great service from...

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, We thank you for your message. We are glad you liked the Hotel's location and enjoyed your first trip to Paris. Regarding the Air-Con we are working on it.... Being in a protected area of Paris, it is a complicated and long project... We hope to see you soon. Kind regards. The Hotel Saint Christophe Staff

This is our second stay at this hotel and it did not disappoint - we even asked for the same room as our first stay and got it! It is a comfortable and elegant hotel in an ideal position to explore Paris. Who would need anything more? Rue Moufftard for evening meals, on 2 Metro (underground) lines and local bars...

Let me start with the no so good stuff. We stayed at the St Christophe for 3 nights from the World Cup final date onward. The weather was hot (30 degrees plus) and humid. We were given a room facing the street that was hot and, once Spanish celebrations started, very noisy. We asked if other rooms were available and...

My fiancee and I recently stayed at the Hotel St Christophe in May. This was a surprise trip that we got engaged on. The staff was wonderful, picking up a bottle of wine for us to celebrate. They also were very helpful in giving us directions to the Metro and how to best use it. The Metro is two short...

We spent three nights in Paris and wanted a hotel in the Latin Quarter. St. Christophe was perfect! It is reasonably priced, the staff is incredibly accomodating and the rooms are clean (although a bit small). The hotel is close to several Metro stops. In fact, there was a fabulous farmer's market near the Le Monge Metro stop on a...

This was a really great little hotel for the money. The best thing about it is the location, right next to the Botanic Gardens which make a nice detour on the way to the Seine. 15 minutes walk to Notre Dame if you go the direct route. Interesting market and foodshops a minute away at Rue Mouffetard. The room was...

My young adult daughter and I stayed at the Saint Christophe-Logis while on a trip to Paris. Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
