Seven nights at this well ubicated hotels was comfortable enough to give it a 4/5 score. The rooms are small with the minimun commodities, but for the price we think the rate value/price are a very good combination. The recepcionists was helpfull and speak french and good english (no one in France seems to speak spanish). The bathroom is very...

Basic two star hotel. Very near metro station (250 metres) and well away from the dodgier areas of Montparnasse. The area is quiet enough and far enough from rue d'Alesia to escape the noise There was two of us staying in two rooms. One of them was on the small side and getting into the shower was difficult as the...

I've just come back from Paris and staying at this hotel. If you have a low budget and don't mind bare minimum kind of accommodation. this will be good. Mind you, if you travel to Paris during a hot season, that'll be terrible because there's no air conditioning. It's a clean place, nice people. offer advice and speak English. Clean...

My wife and I visited in April, 2004. We thought this was a very good hotel for the money. We got an internet special which included breakfast for EU 3 each, a very good bargain. You won't leave hungry. If possible get a room off the street. It is much quieter and you have a nice garden to look upon....

Inspite of its small rooms, humble intereior, and lack of air conditioning, my wife and I were satisfied with the hotel, until the morning we checked out. The breakfast costed 9e each person each day!! Although we didn't eat downstair everyday, the hotel insisted on charging us for every day we have stayed. We thought it was complimentary, and it...

6 of us stayed at the JDP Alésia, a charming 3-star hotel on rue Alésia about 1/2 way between 2 métro stations. Generally, we used métro Alésia because there is a nice selection of restaurants and even a cinéma. The staff is very helpful and kind, answering questions and giving directions in English if you need it. The beds are...

My wife and I visited Paris for the week between Christmas and New Year's. This was a great time to visit the city as all of the holiday decorations were in full display, and the city was very lively. The JDP Alesia is in the 14th arrondisemont, and is conveniently located between two different subway lines. The neighborhood is very...
